Update
Dropped my vehicle off for service Friday morning, was expecting any update by Tuesday evening. Called five times and eventually had to select sales to get someone on the phone. Apparently only the service provider can update you on your vehicle, so when they are not around you can not receive an update. Now I have to figure arrangements out for tomorrow since the location failed to provide me an update.

Poor quality of their cars and horrible service department
Our car is 10 months old and has been in the shop at least 5 times for the same issue. We are told after every visit that it is fixed, yet as soon as we drive away it’s still there.

Service department is a joke! The employees give incorrect information and have no idea how to do their job.

I would NOT recommend buying from this company unless you want a nonstop headache. I regret ever purchasing our car.

Servicing my Nissan Rogue
Grand Rising all I recently followed my service guy from Porter Nissan and to Porter Hyundai his name is Mike Ferguson… amazing very helpful guy who in turn pushed me to another amazing service desk woman Ms Rachael did her thing explained every detail about my car in mechanical services and what’s to come in the future along with price’s.. hard to find ppl with this amount of passion in this field any more 10 stars and please we as the public appreciate you guy’s

Horrible
Walked in at 10:10am for an oil change, was told it was about a 2 1/2 hour wait. After 3 hours representative said he would go check and they were loading car now. It’s been over 3 hours and now he’s telling me it’s going to be another 45 minutes. Just horrible communication and customer service. Will never be using Porter again. I have been a loyal customer for almost 20 years, barely received an apology when I asked to just get my car back since it has been almost 4 hours of waiting

Service isn't the best
I wish I had taken the time to read the reviews before purchasing a car at this location. I feel like the service department has a lot to learn when it comes to empathy, clear communication, and customer service. It’s like if they took one moment to put themselves in someone else’s shoes, they would understand when a customer is frustrated. Imagine buying a new car only to learn that there is a leak only to wait the required time for your appointment To have to schedule a separate appointment for a part only to wait two weeks and then have to call yourself because no one told you that the part came in only to schedule another appointment. Come into that appointment Car looks dirty doesn’t look as if the part had been fixed, but you trust their word because you have no other reason not to only for you to go home check the backseat not that there is a part on the floor. You call and explain your case for one of the representative to say while they just do paperwork, they don’t have anything in regards to the car, which is true, but is that really the response I should have gotten. Only for me to drive back get the car part fixed didn’t get an apology from that representative only got a negative energy For me to drive home it rains over the weekend. I have to call on Monday because I realize the issue was still happening. Schedule to come back in they give me a date three weeks in advance. I asked to speak to the service manager who squeezes me in for Wednesday I show up has a negative energy. God forbid. I’m upset that I am back here for the fifth time for something I trust that would’ve been fixed, I’m sorry. I’m a little frustrated that I’m a night. Nurse have to work overnight then come in For something I don’t feel feel like I should be dealing with when you buy a new car. Granite is no one’s fault about the leak however, I just don’t understand why I’m getting such a negative attitude from the staf. Especially when I walk in on Wednesday morning and the guy that attends me Oh, I see that the other staff was helping you and then that says oh no, it was this person It’s like I was being tossed around because no one wanted to deal with the issue an issue that was not even my fault. So now I’m being treated wrongly Because I spoke up. and of course I hate to say this, but everyone knows when the black woman speaks up even though she’s within right they automatically label you as a crazy difficult black woman and is very unfortunate. it is crazy to me because even through all of that, my interactions has been positive. I went in there fresh off a night shift said Good morning but yet I was met with such negativity and it just makes me never want go back and it sucks that this is going to be the location that I potentially have to get my oil checks or any potential problems because I just don’t feel comfortable like the staff Already labeled me as a difficult customer without putting themselves in my shoes. So of course, I waited all day for my car only to get a call around 4:49 that they would have to hold my car until the next day. The man that I spoke with MIKE was very pleasant. I’m sure he anticipated that I would be upset because the prior staff probably have been talking about me throughout the entire however, I simply told him that the whole day on Thursday would not work and I would hope that it should be solved because I do have to work in this place, I would never recommend this place to anyone else. And as I go through the ratings and reviews, I also see that there are a lot of service complaints and it makes me feel like I’m not the only one who has Experience these negative interactions.

Slow vehicle service
I would have no problem buying a vehicle here but I would never purchase the oil change package. You cannot schedule appointments for an oil change. Instead you come in and wait. I’ve been coming for service here for 8 years and nothing’s changed. I think it’s time to update how you do service. The waits are outrageous sometimes over 2 hours. I can honestly say this prevented me from purchasing my new vehicle from Porter.

Very positive experience
Codie Lilly is a gem. We came to the dealership to test-drive the 2024 Ioniq 6, not intending to purchase yet. He greeted us with a smile & hearty welcome, & proceeded to answer all our questions & concerns about all-electric vehicles, & specifically the Ioniq 6. Codie negotiated with another dealer to find same car, different color; car arrived in <24 hours. For trade-in our CarMax evaluation was accepted. The finance guy was thorough, helping us find best deal. Codie spent over 1.5 hrs, well past the dealership closure, to get all the custom electronic options set up and familiarize us with the car. Subsequent to purchase, he answered further questions & even took time 2 days later to help set up some additional things. Bottom-line, we had our 2024 Ioniq 6 two days after walking into the dealership to do a test-drive & had a very positive experience due to Codie Lilly. Thank you Codie. Thank you Porter Hyundai.

Four service appointments to fix one air conditoner
I've been trying to have my air conditioning fixed. After waiting three months in the winter, I finally was able to get serviced in January. I take it and they say it's fixed (o ring). I say I couldn't tell because it was winter, and that it's going to blow cold air regardless. I'm told that if there's any problem, call and they'll give it a look. A few warm days in February, it's blowing warm air. I call and am told to make an appointment, even though I explained the situation. April rolls around and yet another appointment. I'm told it's fixed. It's a hose. Fine. A month later, blowing hot air. Call again and speak with the service manager, it's now my whole air compressor that's cracked. You'd think this would have been checked when they looked over the whole system the first two times. Nope. Take it home. Two weeks, hot air blowing out. Take it back... yet again. And it's something they had already fixed.
Didn't even get down the highway and half my car is blowing out warm air, despite a text message saying "we ran the dye through again and everything was all good." Was it too much to ask to check the inside vents? Run the car for a half hour to make sure it stayed cool?
I've never had such terrible service. It's disappointing.

I've never been offered a courtesy car or any discount on the expensive services or time that I've spent waiting for repairs.

Worst service EVER!!! Again.
It can’t be possible that they have that high of a rating on their service!! I haven’t had a satisfactory visit yet & unfortunately the next closest hyundai dealership is an hour away. Just took it in for a routine scheduled maintenance and, as usual, it came back w more issues than it went in with. It was a simple cabin air filter replacement and not only does it now rattle like a machine gun but now the A/C isn’t working!!! Car only has Miles and has ONLY been serviced by Porter. I don’t have time for this.

Consultant Rachel is great!
The service I received today from the service consultant Rachel was. She acknowledged me as soon as I came in the door, she's was so knowledgeable and informative about my car + services, and she seemed so genuine because remembered me from the last time I came in! I was a walk-in on a Saturday and the last car they take in is at 10am. I didnt know that and she still accommodated me even though i arrived at 10:45am. Great employee, definitely!

Have a 2020 Santa Fe called for warranty service on Nov 2. All warning lights for front collision lane assist etc numerous warning lights are on. They could not give me an appointment until 2 nd week in January. Never buy or service at Porter Hyundai again.
