Excellent Service
Highly recommend. They have been helping with a 2012 BMW. I appreciate all of the hard work and dedication in troubleshooting the vehicle. It wasn't easy to find the issue but they stuck at it. Definitely reminds me of the mechanic shops I grew up with in North Alabama!

Great service!
I took my 2018 Jeep Wrangler to have my oil changed and tires rotated. and I got top notch service, again. I have been going to Mr. Allen and Phoenix Motors for around 2 years now and I appreciate the care they show you there. The Front Office young lady, Melissa, even waited later the day I dropped it off, it was past closing time. This is a family owned and operated business and they make you feel like family too.

Excellent service!
I took my wife's 2014 Town and Country to Phoenix because the battery wouldn't hold a charge and they were the closest shop from the Auto Zone I was at getting the battery checked at. Turns out the battery was not at fault but the alternator had stopped charging due to oil dripping on it from a leaking rocker cover gasket. When they pulled the valve cover to replace the gasket, they could that one of the rockers had a stuck roller bearing which ground down one of the intake camshaft lobes. Unfortunately, their main supplier were out of the camshaft because they were sitting at the border waiting on customs. So, they searched several local salvage yards to find a used camshaft and, after several dead ends, finally located a suitable one. As I preferred to do what they referred to as a "patch" job, where only the defective rocker is replaced, they reassembled it with the used camshaft, replacing only the one rocker and it's associated lifter. However, upon start-up, they detected a noise, so they took it back apart and replaced the remaining rockers and lifters. The great thing is that they didn't charge for the labor to disassemble and reassemble the engine the second time, and knocked off some of the cost of the parts. My only regret is that I didn't take my 2014 RAM pickup there when it had trouble, as I am on my third engine, replaced by the shop I took it to (who shall remain nameless, but are a national chain), as they wouldn't even try to fix the problem. From now on, ALL of my business will be going to Phoenix. As a plus, the owner is a wealth of information and good advice.

Tenacity and Determination
Some auto problems deserve an unusual approach.

Allen and his team took the time to assess my Audi Q7's noise, and they were upfront and honest enough to confirm that it could be one of three root causes. The diagnosis aligned with the many online comments related to this common Audi Q7 issue. We agreed to tackle each of the three possibilities methodically from the least difficult (and less costly) to the most difficult (and most costly). Despite the challenging and lengthy process, they stuck with it, and they finally arrived at the successful repair. You have to respect a team that is upfront about the complexities and limitations and who is willing to work through customer-sensitive options and alternatives.

Not every job is easy or straightforward, and the day you have a difficult repair, you'll wish you had someone like Allen and the Phoenix team working shoulder-to-shoulder with you. I'm impressed with their collective tenacity and determination to ensure that the job was finished successfully.

I want to recognize Spencer, the primary technician who accepted the challenge. He's a brilliant tech with superb intangible qualities that were able to finally slay the engine's woodpecker. Thank you very much, Spencer. You're a hero!

Fantastic service
Phoenix motors really helped us out. Great customer service too. They fixed a problem with a “stuck bolt” and got us back on the road. Very courteous mechanics and staff. 😃
