I went to Midas in Bloomfield, CT. My experience was much smoother than I had expected.The gentleman at the desk was named John. He was professional and knowledgeable. The facility was very busy, but he remained calm, professional and kind to all customers. He explained the different types of oil and he did not try to pressure me into purchasing more than what I had planned. I appreciate this Midas. I have been telling everyone about this experience and encouraging people to come here. I will definitely go back.

Replace front calipers and brake job.
Front caliper average price is about 80 dollars each. I was charged 159 for each caliper without labor. I am very disappointed about this. I am a loyal customer at Midas Bloomfield! My total bill for a front brake job, including brake flush, pads ( no charge), rotors, was 918 dollars ( after 25 dollars discount).
I am very disappointed with Midas Bloomfield!!!

Not pandemic safe
Dr add ting area is quite small, customers should be required to wear a mask as the mask mandate has not been lifted by the State, the health of customers should be a priority not just their payment for services performed.

Unfortunatly the mask mandate was ended in Bloomfield municipality on Feb 15. The State of Ct does not require facemasks for vaccinated patrons unless they are in special facilities such as hospitals and nursing homes etc. Most of our employees are still chosing to wear the masks regardless of vaccination status for the health and safety of our customers. We however cannot force customers to wear masks that are vaccinated in accordance with municiple and state guidlines. We are sorry and understand your concern during these hard times

Broken keys fob, and broken key.
John provided the worse services possible. I left and had to return twice for unfinished work.
I had an appointment for 11:00 and from beginning to end took me two and half hours.
And even now by key fob does not work the way it was working when I came in. I,m sorry, I came here for service. No more!

After speaking with outside consel I was told that the two hours I lost at work should be comensated by your company.

John & Crew are awesome!
After mechanical damage from an accident in the evening, I called John the next morning, he took me right away, kept me posted, and by late afternoon the car was as good as new. After years of great service, I have the utmost confidence with his recommendations and quality of work.
