Sloppy work and a rip-off.
I took my car to Midas believing that something was wrong with my catalytic converter or a muffler. My car would not accelerate. They quickly supposedly fix my car and I picked it up the next day. I also took it to Mazda and found out through their inspection that mightest didn't do all they said they did. I took my car back. It's about two more times and then they suggested I take it to the dealership out loud the dealership to fix the car because they suggest it. When I tried to get a refund to some of my money they refused. They charged me $1,000 for a tune-up for which dated flush any of my fluids they didn't fix. I believe what they say they fix because I had still had a leakage. If you looking for honestly recommend this business to a and help these guys do not offer. If anything they set you up for failure. I would never go to Midas again.

Stay away!!
They could and should have improved the quality of work that was performed on my car, which was an oil change. An employee at MIDAS AUTO REPAIR in WINTER HAVEN on 3rd street, An employee spilled oil over parts of the engine, didn't clean it up, and didn't put the correct amount of oil required for my car. They call said car was ready to be picked up. I paid and was given the invoice, which stated oil change, filter, as well as courtesy check had been performed. I leave and in less than 6 miles, I can't see through me windshield due to the amount of smoke coming out from around my hood. When I lift my hood I immediately see puddles of oil in different places, and oil on different parts of engine. The oil cap and stick were secured. I then checked oil level, that showed approximately 2 quarts low. 8:30 the next morning, I called and spoke with Derick, the manager, to inform him of the situation. He had my car towed up there. Later that afternoon he called and apologized and said it wasn't recognized that a part of theirs they use to perform an change was cracked which caused the spill, he then said they cleaned the oil , no damage done, redid the oil change, and replaced the oil filter. I arrive, received a refund, and as I'm walking towards my car I immediately see oil/grease smudges, hand, and finger prints on the paint outside of my car... the hood, door handles, down front sides of the car as well as around the top of both front doors. I look under the hood and puddles were still present as well as oil clearly visible on my alternator, belt, and other areas. The manager Derick has refused any further services. and their is extensive damage to my car. I will Post Pictures of after they performed the oil change, as well as the pictures of their completed work after their "clean up" In addition, I was on the phone with the Midas complaint customer service, from the time I walked in the office until I left the parking lot, and she heard an employee, after I loudly ask who did this to my car, respond to me with hostility, as he was walking towards me aggressively, stating "I'm sick of hearing your S%$*, I don't have to take this, hurry up with your complaint, get in your car, and leave". I'm took my car to an ASE certified mechanic. Because I have to replace my alternator, belt and battery, due to their negligence.
