Bamboozled
Bought a certified used 2021 Tacoma in great shape with 59,322 miles. Didn't even think to ask if the 60k service had been done already. Image my surprise four months later when my check engine light comes on at 64K miles and I presume I just need an oil change. The service department informs me the 60k service has not been done. I ask for them to cover the cost considering the situation would be like me purchasing a new car and needing to dump $2700 in work, a mere 600 miles into owning it. Needless to say, I had to pay the full cost.

Service has deteriorated significantly with new service personnel who have no clue of automobiles, does not check history but randomly advise with the only objective of increasing revenue. Caught them twice. Been a 20 yr customer but time to shift
