Honest folks
I came in for for the first time, for an annual inspection. They pointed out some upcoming issues with my car but didn't fail the car because they were honest. These were not 'failing' issues but something to be mindful of in the near future. I have often been told by other inspection stations that I would 'fail inspection' because of faulty breaks even though the breaks were new, so it was refreshing to go to a place that looked at my car, gave me an honest assessment of my car, and then passed the car, rightfully, because it met the criteria. I would absolutely use them in the future for both inspection and repairs!

Breaking down in manhattan
The idea of breaking down in Manhattan has always been a nightmare, and I’ve been lucky for many years. Recently, though I broke the serpentine belt on my old Subaru and had a friend tow me behind her car over to this lovely garage, which happens to be in my neighborhood. Aron the owner or manager, wasn’t sure if he was going to be able to even get me off the street because he was filled with cars in need of repair. He said, give me a minute to reshuffle to think. He moved several cars around and said OK I can take you now. Later that evening he left a message saying car was done. He replaced three parts at a fair price and the car was ready to go. I picked it up early the next morning very happy.

Surpassed my expectatioms
My Honda Accord was ready for a scheduled service. I had used this shop before for a safety inspection and new tires. Both positive experiences. So I decided to head back.
I was able to schedule my work on the day I was hoping for.
One thing I remembered from my previous visit was how clean and organized their shop is. I figure a shop the owners take pride in means they will take pride in their work.
I explained exactly what I needed. They offered a bundled package of exactly what needed at a very attractive price.
I was told that the job should be done by 2:00. So I called at 2:00, the car was ready as promised and I headed back. I arrived and they gave me a quick update that everything was fine with the car. Their overall inspection showed everything was in good shape.
So the experience was great. The service was done on time as promised. There was no “finding something wrong” to inflate the cost. So I highly recommend this shop for their integrity, fair value, and efficiency. No wonder this family has been in business for over 80 years.

Great auto repair shop that is part of the neighborhood
Everybody that I know who has a car on the Upper West Side takes their car (or cars) to Manhattan Alignment & Diagnostic and, as importantly, they have done so for years. Family owned, this place is part of the neighborhood and for good reason. They are trustworthy, timely, reasonably priced, and completely customer focused. Whether you know about cars or don't, you will be in good hands here.
