Keeping my Honda alive year after year
Kevin is my favorite mechanic! Him and his team always do a great job at keeping my old Honda running and informing me what needs immediate attention and what can be monitored. Kevin is always so nice and extremely knowledgeable about what's going on with my car. Great communication and great service everytime. Thank you!

Good work, but bad estimate
When I made the appointment, I asked for an estimate. I was told that the estimate included gaskets and filters, but when I arrived for the appointment I was told that it did not.

Fortunate, it wasn't necessary and the person helping me explained why, but it meant that I paid more for the same service offered down the street.

The work was done quickly and efficiently. I was told that if you want to have the mechanic do a general "look-over", you have to specifically request it, or it won't be done. That was particularly disappointing as I've never been told I needed to request it. I always thought that this was part of the reason for going to a trained ASME mechanic and paying more...

Hi Adolf, we appreciate the feedback. I think there was some confusion between us when the initial appointment was made. We have very competitive pricing. If you get an estimate for a transmission service at another local shop that comes in lower we could match that for you and issue a partial refund if necessary. You are always wecome to come back for a free 29 point inspection.

Thorough and informative.
They gave my car a good physical and not only advised me of what needed attention but sent pictures. When I took the car in to take care of the problems they were fast as well as efficient. I am 80 and in all my years of car care I have never been so pleased.

Trustworthy mechanics
I've been bringing my car to them for years and I've been incredibly happy with their services every time. I appreciate their honesty in communicating what needs to be done for my car and I've never felt like they've tried to suggest unnecessary work.

Always Happy Picking Up Our Car
We almost have to pinch ourselves after a service with Long's. Is this even real? We've been using Long's for several years now and are always happy with the outcome. Long's is honest and great at communicating. We go into a service having some idea what is possibly needing a repair, they explain the level of urgency on each outstanding repair that should be addressed (eventually) so we could choose to hold off on something that isn't an emergency. This visit we thought we'd be replacing the front brakes. Nope, just an oil change. The brakes can wait another 6 months. We leave actually HAPPY!

We are forever grateful to you and your colleagues at Long’s Car Care Center for taking such good care of us and our cars! The 1995 Buick Park Avenue, “The Spirit of Detroit,” in particular, is a car filled with more mysteries than one might imagine — including the “ghost horn” phenomena, an eternal spring in the footwell area of the driver’s side back passenger seat, and the discovery the our neighborhood mini-squirrels have been using the engine area as their own personal “Studio 54.” Whatever it is we discover, I appreciate that you are always patient, understanding, practical, and pragmatic, that I never feel judged, and that you always treat me with kindness, friendliness, and an excellent sense of humor. Thank you for all that you and your colleagues do to make this world

New to Long’s
New customer to Long’s and glad to have done business with them. They did a full inspection and oil change for me and took care of my truck. I will be coming back to them for further work that is beyond my abilities. Also didn’t try to sell me on something I didn’t need.

Great service
We have 3 cars: 2002 Ford, 2003 Toyota, and 2004 Toyota. Long's Car Care Center has kept them in working order since we have had them. They are helpful and honest in what needs to be done and what can wait if we can't do it at the time.
