Knowing how busy the Service Department is at Korum Hyundai, I just wanted my burnt out headlamp replaced. Not having an appointment, having explained what I needed. The lamp was replaced and I was on my way.

Not good customer service and expensive just to tell us it was a bad battery which we just replaced and is new.

We appreciate your feedback, and would like to clarify what transpired during your recent visit.  When you brought your vehicle in for service, you advised us that the battery had been recently changed, but that the vehicle kept having to be jump started every few days.  You authorized a diagnostic to check for any parasitic draw that could be causing the battery to fail, as well as to check the charging system.  Our technician performed the requested checks and determined that the parasitic draw for the vehicle was normal, and that the charging system was operating properly.  We then performed a check of the battery you had recently purchased elsewhere, and shared with the you the results of that test, which showed the battery failed its load testing.  We recommend to install a new battery, or return to where you had purchased the one in the vehicle, and ask to swap it out with a working battery.

We performed the service, and advised of the needed repair, as requested.  While we understand that you are frustrated that the battery you had recently purchased was faulty, we stand by our diagnostic procedure and result, as we follow Hyundai protocol for verifying concerns and determining a fix.

Excellent customer service
The entire service team is top notch! From the from to the back, the staff at the counter treat you like you're the only one in the place, the attention they give you is really nice. If you are waiting for your vehicle, they make sure to update you while you wait so you don't feel forgotten. The technicians working on the cars focus on details you would not have thought of. They go beyond the simple request to make sure they don't miss anything.

Wonderful Customer Service from Michael Sheffield
The customer service at Korum Kyundai was amazing. I went in to look at cars and Michael Sheffield took his time showing me various cars and letting me test drive them. I went in the next morning as I was set on a car, and Mr. Sheffield helped me once again. He took his time to make sure everything was settled, gave me mats for my car, a full tank of gas, and made sure to answer all of my questions. I never felt rushed or pressured to buy a car during the process. A little less than a month later, my check engine light came on. I called Mr. Sheffield directly and he was able to get me an appointment within the week to inspect the problem. I appreciate this time in doing so. Overall, I would come to this Korum Hyundai for not only another car, but to go in for their services for my car maintenance as well.
