Cons
I was told I had to give a credit application to purchase a car from them. That doesn’t sound right I came in with my own financing. Dennis the manager was rude, lied to me, and I never got a call back after leaving multiple messages for the general manager.

Liars and They Play Games
Tried to purchase a used vehicle from them and although I had my own approval with Navy Federal they tried to lie to me and force me to give a credit application saying it was a requirement to buy a vehicle from them. That’s illegal to do.

Failing service department and management staff!
It’s all about word of mouth! When I hear of poor service! I’ll stay far away and explain my conversation with others I know. I’ve been in the service industry for nearly 40 years and what I heard about your service and management staff interaction is poor to say the least. I’ll stay far away! I will simply explain the facts of interaction and stay far away!

Horrible!!
We got our car in Aug of 2020 and it has been back in forth in the shop since the day we got it. At first they took the car to a shop then they tried to fix it then sent it to the chevy and now its still broken. The General Manger is never in and will not return my phone calls. It's now the end of April of 2021 and it has to go back to the shop again.

Anything but Brakes
Anything but Brakes
Nice people, organized dealership but never get brakes right. I have had maintenance on my last 3 Toyota's at the dealership and though it was a little pricey I believed they did good work. Had no issues on engine work but have had issues with brake work every time.
In my last 3 cars I had issues after brake jobs, In all cases had to do further brake work inside a year. I should have learned the first or second time but I have always depended on the dealership for quality work so I always go back. Training or materials I don’t know but learn from my mistakes and use them for everything but brakes.

Lets summarize current brake work.
Sept 2018
– low brake pedal so brought it in to get check out and they did full break job, pricey but necessary.
Picked up car and notice break pedal still very low , brought car back and they said it all looked good, I explained they weren’t like that before .
Drove 2 weeks pedal very low brought back in something must be wrong, I was told it all looked good it’s just how’s the brakes are.
March 2019
-- Brakes squeaking bad so I brought car back in. I am told calipers are a bad and I need to replace brakes, rotors and calipers. After another big bill the brake pedal are back to normal.
Aug 2019
Brake squeaking so I bring car in and I am told they don’t hear it . Squeaking is normal in the morning.
I question that and I am told it could be cheaper materials and then I explained they have done all brake work here.
So they are going to lubricate and I imagine squeak will be back and I will have to have brakes done.
On last solara, had breaks done , had to brin g 3 times and finally had to redo within a year.
On Camry before that had full brake job and was having brake issues so traded in for a new car.

In short nice people, work seems good just nor brake work.

Unreasonable Prices
TERRIBLE. STAY AWAY. I took my Prius in to Koons to check the starter battery. The Asst. Service Manager wanted a $139 "Diagnostic Charge" Most other service centers run a battery check for free, but I said OK because "it would be applied toward any repairs" and I suspected I needed a new battery. Well Koons charged $477 to replace the starter battery!!! I've had DarCars replace the starter battery on another Prius for $270 including battery test and labor. Yesterday, I had my local service center replace the starter battery on third Prius for $248. So Koons charged almost twice what other dealers charge. Another indicator of price gouging is the $54.00 that Koons charged for "Shop Supplies". The other two service centers charged $6-10.00 for "Shop Supplies." When I expressed my displeasure, Koons offered me a $194 credit for future service. So they gouge the customer and then offer a credit so they can gouge the customer again when they come back.

Worst yet, I called the Service Center Manager (Tom Bronk) twice and the General Manager (Wendell Williams) to discuss my displeasure and request a refund, not credit. Neither have called back.

I've owned five Prius so I'm very familiar with repairs. I can only imagine what Koons does to other customers who might not be as familiar with their cars.
