Called CarNerds. They could not do what I needed and they referred me to Kartek. All I can say is that I found them, fair (price), quick and thorough (service), and super friendly (human touch). They got my business.

The best service, reasonable, honest, reliable and over and beyond helpful
This repair and service shop is one of the best places to go to get honest and reliable work done. I am a typical woman driver with very little knowledge of car repairs etc. I trust Eddie, the owner and I know that his prices are reasonable and his work reliable. Everyone at the shop are helpful and good at what they do.
They fixed my car while I was visiting LA and saved my trip home!
Wow, I am so lucky I found Kartek! I was in LA for a weekend trip and my car malfunctioned twice on the freeway on the way down. After calling 5 mechanics I found kartek, and dropped off the car Saturday morning. I had it back and fixed by Saturday afternoon for a safe trip back the next day. And the price was very reasonable, they could have way overcharged me and I would have paid it but they didn’t. Highly recommend.
Efficient service to replace my Catalytic Converter.
Kar Tek was great, extremely communicative (Eddie) kept me informed up to the minute I got my car back. Much more so than my insurance agents. They had a lot of work to do as the thieves did plenty of damage stealing my catalytic converter. He instructed me how much to drive before going for my smog cert, and even to swing by and they’ll check on their meter to see if it’s ready to pass CA strict smog test. Thank you Eddie & Kar Tek

I have been taking my cars to Kartek for many years. They really do a great job. I have been very happy with them. They know how to advise me on anything to do with my car problems.
I have worked with Eddie and Kartek a couple times now and every time I’m extremely satisfied with their work. If you need any electrical work or exhaust work, there’s no other place to go.
