Disappointing
I have never written a negative review but if I can help anyone else from experiencing what we have then at least I helped one person. Our experience with this dealership has been the worst that we have ever experience in the process of purchasing a vehicle. I understand that at the time of purchase it was late as well being a Sunday, but we were told to come by another day to have the fuel tank fille since the tank was not full at the time of purchased. We as well were told the tires would be changed to new ones since they were not in good shape. Husband went by that Thursday and was told they had no idea about him stopping by and Sandra was out. I messaged the salesperson Sandra and she explained she would be out until Monday and would try to help then and didn’t understand why they couldn’t at least fill up the tank. That Monday she messaged for my husband to stop in, I did explain since we live in Naples we would like to know what they can help us with since it’s a bit of a drive. I explained I was disappointed in this process and that I have purchased cars before and never had these kinds of issues. And assumed that everything would have been done correctly since they are professionals. She reassured me she would help the best she could and would involve her manager if needed. I said hopefully we can get things resolved, she promised to do everything she can to get us taken care of. That Thursday my husband stopped by, they never filled the tank only offered to wash the car. Which was only run through their car wash. Was told they couldn’t do anything regarding the tires, and we would have to wait and go through the warranty we purchase. I called and found out it would only start after 30 days and the warranty for the tires only covered if the tires which are damaged on the road. Not for wear and tear as the ones that were on the car at the time of purchased. Jump three months later, time to renew registration not able to due to pending on documents from the dealership. Tax Collector County told me the registration will expires tomorrow and the dealership has not finished the correct paperwork to be able to renew, would need to contact the dealership. I called and spoke with Charlie who is the one who handled our financing paperwork in the beginning who had originally told us about the fuel as well as the tires which was a lie. So now I am speaking with him explaining our issue at which he told me he would email the person who handles the registration papers. He then told me we could come by and get a temporary tag to be used until the paperwork was done. I was oaky with that even though it has been three months since we purchased the car, and the paperwork should have been done. My husband went by and was told they couldn’t give him a temporary tag and that his tag was still valid until the end of the month. I called Charlie to explain the issues we were having at the dealership after we were told just to come by to get a temporary, he didn’t answer so I left a message never got a call back. At this time, I’m fuming mad my husband went back in the dealership and placed me on speaker. I explained once again our issue and after today the tag will no longer be valid to the sales manager, he then said no we have until the end of the month and that he knows the laws. I once again explained I had spoken myself with the County and was told it would expire today, just like any other registrations they expires on your birthday. I told him it has been three months and they have not finished the paperwork and was not acceptable well the word I used was bullshit. I went on to say if tomorrow we were to get pulled over who then would pay for the ticket we would receive. My husband told me to calm down that he was trying to help which my replay to that was we are going through this ordeal due to them not doing should have done three months ago. And told my husband to stay there until the helped him, I then hung up. My husband could overhear Charlie tell the sales manager he was not going to speak with me and to give my husband the new registration. At this time the sales manager told him to wait three minutes and a few minutes late he was walking out with the new registration in hand. It is sad that had to come to this to be helped with something which should have been done months ago. We will never purchase another vehicle from Hyundai Ft. Myers as well we don’t recommend anyone else to.
