Shoddy overpriced and nderdelivered
Where do I start with Howard Automotive as there were so many things. I'll find my original list of complaints with this company, all the way from attempted price goughing, to losing parts, to having my car for over two month, to misinstallation and so much more.

What prompted me to write again, is that for two years now we've been trying to fix the installation they did on my Procharger Install on my C5 Corvette. We couldn't figure our why the procharger tensioner unit an belt keep failing.

We finally found out just today, affter three belts and two tensioners and about $1000, that Howard Automotive didnot install the .130 spacer the tensioner requires in front of the tensioner for correxct alignment.

Can't say anything god about ths guy. He balmed it on he was doing all the work himself and didnt have time to properly do it.

They never followed up when promised to fix some faulty installations, never did find the parts they lost off my car, and wouldn't call me back.

Not Good!

POOR WORKMANSHIP
THIS IS NO MISTAKE.... Worse shop ever.I had catalytic converters replaced twice only to have engine codes a day later court awarded me a judgment, I'm still awaiting payment. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS SHOP.....The facts are here. https://quickshare.samsungcloud.com/ktTkdArYjj5t

Bad experience
There are so many ways this was such a bad experience. From raising the agreed price to having my car for going on three months. What makes things worse, pro charger said Howards threw me inder the bus, as i didnt tell them i had headers on my C5 and that is why the car is under boosted and had smaller than needed injectors. Procharger knew my car was wrong, and couldnt if cared less. Howard's said they couldnt get the parts, while Procharger asked me how many i wanted. To top it off, Howard's took parts off the car and lost them, they left all the screws out of the mounting plate and left the drain off the procharger. Its been 3 more months and im still waiting for Howards to call me back to replace a part. Through with them!! Im a disabled 1st responder and used my little retirement to buy this car and install the procharger. My health is not good and this was a last go round for me. Howards and Procharger put it to me Royally.

Lost count of all the problems
Bad from the very first! Besides them having the car over two months, saying they couldn't get the parts when Pro-Charger asked me how many I wanted to buy, to Installing undersized injectors, to leaving parts off of my car and then losing them, to trying to raise the quoted price, to telling pro charger the injectors were too small because I didn't tell them I had headers on the car, (How was I to know that made a difference) And MUCH more! To be fair, Pro-Charger could care less. I'm a 45-year disabled first responder, cashed my retirement in to buy a 98 C5, and wanted to give it a last fling, as I have congestive heart failure. Pro Charger and especially Howards Automotive is more than a big disappointment.

Another vehicle.
Recently had them work on my wife's vehicle. Great work. Great price. Fast, friendly service. I will always take my vehicles to them. Now if they worked on motorcycles.

Very reliable standard of diagnosis and repair work
Service and feedback good. Disappointed that the cost was higher than I first expected - replacing worn out parts - but after 3 days driving I can already feel the vehicle (a Honda CRV) is responding much better. Thanks guys.
