Salesman Yawned and shocking Customer Service.
The salesman Alex left a voice-mail yawning about 45 seconds in and couldn't be bothered to finish his sentence. The salesman in the store tried to undersell us and rub his commission up another couple hundred dollars. As soon as they knew the price we wanted for a trade in he went in to his manager and the rip off had now commenced. Really really bad customer service, didn't dhow any courtesy or respect to what we wanted, only cared about the money. What a way to deal with your customer eh. Do not recommend anyone back to this place unless you wanted to be ripped off and out of pocket a couple thousand.

Honda's Malfuction Motors
Fraud Alert: To anyone or someone they know, who own a 2008 to 2012 Honda with a V6 Automatic Engine. Please Google "Honda Misfire". Every one of these Motors are Defective. Honda knew it and still put them in New Cars. Then sold them to the unaware public. They will all need to have Piston Ring Repairs. At 45,000 to 50,000 Miles your Spark Plugs will misfire. This Flaw will also cause Extensive Damage to the Catalytic Converter and Excessive Oil Consumption. If you take your Car in with the Check Engine Light on and Running Rough, while the Car is still under Warranty, Honda will only replace the Corroded Spark Plug. This will get you by, but does not fix the Cause of the Problem and Cover-up. This "Fix" will last you long enough to get you out of Warranty and you get to pay for it out-of-pocket, when it happens again. I am a owner of a 2010 Honda that can Prove it they did it to me 3 times. I took my car in with this problem in 2012, New Spark Plugs. Again in 2015, you Guessed it, New Spark Plugs. Than at 104,000 I got a Tune-up with New Spark Plugs. But I did tell them that it goes though a lot of Oil, They said that's "Normal" for a V6, I trusted them. Last month at 148,000 miles it happens again. Now they tell me I need Piston Ring Repairs, you Guessed it out of Warranty and $1,800.00 Out-of-my-Pocket. I did call and file a complaint with American Honda Motor Incorporated in California, major run around and they said "Sorry" out of Warranty. So here I am letting you all know that it is not to late for those who own a 2011 or 2012 Honda.

Unethical Sales Tactics
Save yourself a headache and go to a different Honda dealership to buy your car. The finance department has antiquated methods, overcharges, refuses to fix their errors.

Undisclosed DMV fees after purchase
Editing review... upon going to my local DMV to register the vehicle I had just purchased from Dick’s Honda Hillsboro, I was informed the respected vehicle would be close to $1,000 to register it as it has nearly $600 in late fees associated to the VIN.

Yes, I am an out of state buyer. The entire Dick’s Hillsboro team failed to disclose late fees associated with this Vehicle. They gladly “researched” and collected my accurate taxes for my State and County but failed to collect my registration and informed they “should be around $300” and to should be paid in person to my local DMV”.

When I contacted them (dealership), they informed the fees are associated to the previous owner registered to that vehicle (they held the vehicles title, you were the owner and boasted about who previously owned the car). I was told it wasn’t their problem and it was now solely mine to figure out. They noted there was no way in knowing, yet, “finance team” looked up my respected due taxes via FREE Ca. DMV.gov website where it shows all associated fees included late pentality fees.

Beware of the transparency of this dealership and apparently the history behind their vehicles like the one I purchased. I spent a lot of time and extra money flying out there to meet them, yet they left me with fees associated to a vehicle they owned during that time. If I would have know registration would cost me nearly 1k to register, I wouldn’t have purchased the vehicle.

Great people!
Just wanted to give a shout out to the team at Dicks Honda. Jeff Holley & Rachel Cropper where an awesome team that got me what I wanted in buying my first Honda. They were never pushy and were very patient with me as I tried several cars until I found "the one" Thanks again for everything!

Sales pitch a bit Fargoesque.
I was hoping to just test drive a used car and then purchase it, but it was a whole lot more complicated than that. I dealt with four salespersons and was told that I had to purchase a theft-deterrent device ($400) and was continually offered expensive warranty plans. After standing firm against these profit-makers, things got easier and the sale was made. Overall, the process was too onerous and should not have been.

Dishonest general manager! After taking to him for two hours he promises me he could work with me on a new car. After a credit application and trade information I drove a hour there and when I got there the hole story change! Bad dealership!

Know Nothing Salesmen
The salesman that was assigned to me knew nothing about the vehicle that I was interested in, and the information that he did seem to know turned out to be wrong. It was very frustrating, I know nothing about cars and I seemed to know more than he did.
