Spoke with Michelle. She said it was the worst experience she has ever had with a vehicle. She said it was completely chaotic and the salesperson tried to hurry her out of their because he had five other appointments scheduled. She said as soon as she drove the vehicle off of the premises, it started shaking and making terrible sounds and she had to bring it back in. She stated when she brought it back in, they denied ever saying what they said to her or promising her anything they promised her.

They’re a joke
My mother bought a car from these guys about a month ago. Has her personal mechanic look it over because she’s hearing noises two weeks after paying over nine grand for the car. Mech finds a failing drivers side control arm and failing AC compressor. Writes up his findings to give to them.

The owner claims he backs up all his cars with a 30 day warranty, including the ones he sells as is—hers is one of these, which I would’ve advised her against. Long story short, she has her car in their shop a total of three times in a month because they’re incompetent, and her mech confirms all they did was tighten down loose parts and recharge the AC.

I personally called them twice in regards to a missing splash shield that just so happens to cover her AC compressor and engine. Spoke with a Khasha that claims he’s the service manager. He refused to replace the shield that his shop would have removed to examine the compressor because he claims the shield “is not a safety feature.” The shield is inside the passenger wheel well, where if she drives over mud, snow, or any type of debris that’s normally kicked up by the vehicle’s wheels, those shields protect the engine from getting ruined (that’s why wheel wells are covered in EVERY vehicle).

Let that sink in. In Khasha’s simple mind, losing parts during a repair in his shop is okay if HE DETERMINES said part(s) are not associated with safety. That is downright disgusting.

Instead of taking accountability and simply replacing the part—a part I can easily install—I was informed that her personal mech—and by extension, myself since I agree with her mech—is stupid because Khasha is apparently a secret Honda engineer that knows which parts are necessary on a car.

I have worked with guys like Khasha in my shop before. The type that interrupt you while you’re speaking in order to try to claim you’ve interrupted them; the overly emotional reactions and raising of a voice because they think louder equals empowerment; the type that has several bolts leftover after “completing” a job, accompanied by an engine rattle that they would claim is “just fine.” I have also fired guys like Khasha before, and I stand by those decisions simply based on the safety issues their incompetence can present, especially to a customer driving such an improperly repaired vehicle with several other innocent people around them. Ironically, I highly doubt Khasha has ever cared for safety.

The message here: This shop doesn’t have any principles or real standards. They have incompetence and excuses in spades. I expect the owner—whom Khasha would NOT allow me to speak to—will leave a follow up response loaded with excuses, a few lies about how my mother came to him after the 30 days (he already tried this nonsense), and several grammatical errors. Just avoid these guys. They aren’t worth the hassle, and based on the way the economy is going, they’ll be out of business soon enough.
