Good Service!
We had our our usual service on the 2019 Ford Ranger. Mike White Ford did its usual timely and excellent job taking care of us. Answered questions about the vehicle and now we are ready for the next long trip. Kudos for the transportation to and from the service center. Our driver was personable, interested in who and what we did, and liked his job.

Lack of customer interest and support
In the past I have received great service at the dealership, this time not so much. I arrived on time and sat in my truck and no body paid an attention to me, in the past someone would have come right over to my vehicle and welcomed me, but this time it was like I didn’t exist. I went over to the service counter and was checked in and given a quote of $40.00 for my oil change. I told the service representative that I would wait for the work in the customer area and I was told the work would be done by 4:00. At 4:20 I finally got a call that my truck done. When I went out to the counter I was told that the service was $49.00. Fortunately when I complained that I was quoted $39.95 on the phone and was told $40.00 when I arrived the representative grudgingly adjusted the price.

In the past it has been a real pleasure to have my work done at your dealership, but this time it felt like you really didn’t care if I ever came back. I am not sure I will.

They went above and beyond to check my tranny leak when the did my engine oil change and found out my brakes were bad and were able to work on them the same day!

I give it 5 stars BUT it wasn't perfect
My vehicle was done in 1hour & 15minutes. When I saw them pull out my vehicle, I waited 15 more minutes before I went up to the service counter. No one came to alert me that my vehicle was done in that 15 minutes. I went up to the service counter and told the tech my vehicle came out 15 minutes ago? He told me that the tech that filled my DEF put the fluid in but did not write down the quantity he put in on the paperwork. So the service tech that informed me of that said he was waiting for the tech to come up and finish his paperwork. He said after he gets done with the paperwork he would come and get me from the waiting room. So I sat back down and after 10 additional minutes, the service tech finally came to alert me that my vehicle was ready to check out. 25 minutes wasted but, it's all good.

The waiting room has very comfortable chairs well spaced apart. Our appointment was for 0930 and was promised to be done at 1400 hrs but was done 1300 hrs. The bill was quoted at $700 which more than I was expecting but with the help our Fordpass 59,000+ credit points the pain wasn’t as bad. Besides Tara the friendly receptionist whom we have known for many years ordered and paid for our lunch and made sure my wife, myself and Willow the dog were well taken care of.

The service is accomplished in a timely manner. The Service area is neat and clean. The waiting area is clean and sitting area provides comfortable chairs for those that wait as their vehicles are being serviced.

Underperformed
Arrived 20-minutes early for 12:30 appointment. Attendant thought he might get the truck in a little early but no guarantee. Honest appraisal. Was very confident would be done by 1:30. Okay with me. Truck left the shop and was parked in the lot by 1:00. I patiently waited but no one came to get me. Finally at 1:40 I went to the desk. Nice young man tried to help me but the person with the paperwork was on the phone. Didn't leave the Dealer until 1:50.
I get it that the guy with the paperwork got stuck on the phone with another customer. But he could have given the paperwork to someone else. I don't get why my truck sat in the lot for 30-minutes after the work was completed without someone coming to get me.
Bottom line: very disappointing, totally inappropriate; will probably encourage me to purchase my next Ford at a different dealer. I will not be recommending this Dealer to my Ford friends.

Robert, we're sorry that your experience didn't meet your expectations. We completely understand your frustration regarding your check-out and wanted to explain what happened. Our computer program only allows one computer to be open with a customer's file at a time, for security reasons. Your file was open on your service writer's computer as he was closing out your file when he received a phone call. He had begun working with another customer on the phone before you approached the desk and was unable to log out of your file during the call due to his active use of his computer during the phone call. Our assistant service manager attempted to use his computer momentarily to get out of your file, but was unable to do so.

While we tell our customers to plan for an hour for an oil change, sometimes we are unable to fulfill that promise due to unforeseen situations. In addition, part of that hour promise time includes the inputting time for the computer so as to make sure that all work is documented for warranty and service records. All vehicles are physically completed earlier than the computer work, but the appointment isn't completed until we are able to update all records, which is why we tell customers to estimate for an hour. Your appointment was scheduled for 12:30 and although you did arrive early, due to other customer's needs and appointments, we weren't able to work in your vehicle any earlier than scheduled. Your vehicle was due to be ready at 1:30 and the service writer was just finishing up your paperwork when the other customer's call came in. We do apologize that you weren't able to leave the dealership until 20 minutes after your promised delivery time and promise to strive to do better for you in the future. Hopefully, this clears up any confusion as to why and what happened during your appointment and that you will give us the opportunity to serve you again and show you what the normal Mike White Ford service experience is like. Your happiness is of the highest importance to us and we're sorry that we weren't able to meet expectations this time. As a token of good faith, we'd like to mail you a coupon for an additional car wash. Just reply to this email with your mailing address and if you'd prefer Squeaky's, Hippo, or Mister Car Wash and we'd be more than happy to get that in the mail to you! Thank you for choosing Mike White Ford!
