Honest auto repair, they don't oversell you, they give good advice.
This was my first time at Robbins & Franke and I was very pleased. I will take my car there again. I
had taken my car to 2 other places before a family member recommended Robbins & Franke. Both of those other places had told me that I need new brake calipers, but Robbins & Franke did not mention it. So I asked about it, and they told me that they would only know if I needed new calipers after they change the brake pads and rotors. As it turned out, I did not need the new calipers, and that saved me about $300. There were also some issues with my car that they do not handle, but they recommended other shops that could fix those issues, and they even gave me a rough idea of how much those things ought to cost. Finally, I tend to ask a lot of questions, and they very patiently answered all of my questions.

I had my truck towed to Andy's because it made a screeching sound. They had it for days and looked at
every possible issue. Murphy's law states that if a woman brings a car in for repair, it won't act up in front of the mechanic. My truck acted in this manner. Andy charges a $150 dollar fee for diagnostics, right off the bat. They did not figure out what caused the sound, but the time they put into trying to eliminate every possible problem, was worth more than the flat $150 dollar fee. They are meticulous and honorable.
