I contacted Amr when my '05 M3 was diagnosed with an SMG transmission fault that was going to be diff
icult to narrow down and extremely expensive to fix. A well-known modification to an SMG E46 M3 is a conversion to a manual transmission. This seemed like a good time to do this since it would eliminate future SMG issues (they're known to fail) and provide the car with a livelier driving experience. Cost-wise this was a no-brainer, too. Since Amr had done the same swap on his own vehicle it gave me confidence to have him do it. I picked up the car yesterday and it drives like a champ. Shifting is crisp and clean and definitely a more connected feeling. This is not an easy conversion and I'm very pleased with the outcome.
