Amr took our 440i M on short notice during a holiday week, and completed repairs within 24 hours. It was a relief not listening to the dealer service writers trying to explain what they know little about - here you get hands on knowledge straight talk from the owner. Including root cause of what forced a repair as well as things to be aware of going forward.
Being an experienced DIY’r fixit guy, it is refreshing to know there is a dependable service shop around, when you get to a point where you lack the specialty tools or a lift.

Yesterday, I went to start my daughter's Honda CRV before she got back in town from college, and it n
eeded a jump. After I started it, the steering did not work. I called Chet's and over the phone, the owner basically told me that if I went to a supply house and got a new battery, that would almost for sure fix the steering. Well, since the owner seemed fair and honest over the phone, I scheduled a service since the car needed an oil change anyways. I get there this morning, ask the owner to do a full diagnostic which I know is always a possible expensive repair. But he said no problem. He looked at everything, topped off the fluids, changed the oil, put in a new battery, and had it all done in close to a half hour. So honest. Very nice people.
