My second Sonata Hybrid - MPG less

This is my second new Sonata Hybrid purchase. I traded in my 2023 Sonata Hybrid SEL after 2.5 years for a new 2025 Sonata Hybrid Limited to take advantage of additional features. I was very satisfied with the 2023 model and achieved an average of 47 MPG. However, the 2025 model is currently averaging approximately 20% less, around 39 MPG. The engine, transmission, driving style, and conditions have remained consistent between the two vehicles. A recent highway trip comparison yielded 40 MPG for the 2023 and approximately 50 MPG for the 2025. I plan to consult with the service department to address this issue.

Kevin’s new Sonata

I bought this as a second vehicle to reduce the miles I’m putting on my pick up truck. This vehicle has all the bells and whistles I could want or need. I am so glad I decided to purchase a Sonata. I have had this vehicle for 3 months now and it is a pleasure to drive everywhere I go. I have a hybrid and truly enjoy the amazing gas savings. Everything the dealer said has been true and I am now a big Hyundai fan!

Lack of build quality but good value overall

The car would easily be a 4-5 star based on features, comfort, and fuel efficiency if it weren't for the build quality holding it back. My vehicle has its front doors rattling with music played on the premium sound system while driving on the freeway which should not be the case for a 39k car.

Great features, limited trim level. The mileage per tank is the best!

Highly recommend the 2025 Hyundai Sonata Limited. Has almost everything needed. A/C seats, side mirrors that angle down when in reverse. Lacking folding in mirrors when locked and has no garage door buttons on the rearview mirror.

Overall this vehicle is excellent, comfortable .The exterior styling hybrid is excellent, The hybrid has excellent MPG’s. Would recommend this vehicle to anyone . My only knock on this car would be. It’s sport is mode extremely rough on the downshift not comfortable to drive on sport mode, which was disappointing.

I was pleasantly surprised at the number of safety features that come standard with the 2025 Sonata. Although I have less than 1000 miles accumulated since purchase, I feel that I have made a very good choice on my latest new car purchase.

A Dream Car

Very impressive safety features. I think that the Sonata Hybrid has "got my back" when it comes to warning me of dangerous conditions. It was a smooh, quiet drive. Visibility frrom the driver's seat is good.
