Nice mid sized sedan with great milage.

We bought the top of the line Sonata Hybred. I'm a gadget guy so I love all the features. My wife is still confused on how to operate everything. Love the voice command features, wish it had more options. I drive with a soft foot so I have been getting right up around 49 mag. It's a little underpowered but when you put it in sport mode you get better shift points to get up to speed a little quicker. I think the black accents below the doors are nice looking but a real pain to keep clean. Interior has decent room and the heated and cooled seats are great. I thought the heated steering wheel was a joke until the first time a used it in the winter. We had one instance of the vehicle loosing all power after leaving in the parking lot of a hotel overnight. It took quite a while to figure out how to gain entrance with the hard key in the fob. Luckily I had noticed the 12 volt reset button on the dash and that brought everything back on line.

Sonata Hybrid

This is a great vehicle for a high school or college graduate. Lots of safety features, very reliable, excellent gas mileage due to hybrid (not plug-in EV). Would recommend to any parent.

Very fuel efficient and comfortable ride

This car is a good value for the price point. It is absolutely not the same quality as comparable Japanese or European sedans. The fuel efficiency is impressive.

Great fuel economy but build quality and reliability is an issue.

It is a nice car that looks good . It gets great fuel economy and has the comfort that I am looking for. It also stands apart from other cars in the parking lot. However, I have already had one part prematurely fail. It was covered by the warranty but I am now concerned about the build quality and reliability of the car.

Great hybrid with a lot of features at a relatively low cost.

Having leased a 2021 Sonata Hybrid, I was compelled to buy and found a beautiful 2023 at a good price. Gas mileage is excellent, handling smooth, great power.

Probably the worst vehicle ever

Listen. I had a 2017 sonata and it was great. Absolutely amazing. I bought this because I thought it would be similar but that couldn't be further from the truth. When it switches between electric and gas drive modes it's not a smooth transition. It beeps at every freakin thing. No cupholders in the back. Sound system sucked. Seats were uncomfortable the longer you sat in it. The car came with a defect and Hyundai and the dealership told me to get bent. I will never buy a hyundai or kia again. I've learned my lesson, the sonata I had before was amazing and I regret having traded it in. This car should be rethought from the ground up; transitions need to be smooth, seats need to be comfortable, and you should be able to at least move the car on your driveway without the car physically stopping you from doing so.

Good car. Too bad it was deemed a total loss in December 19 accident

Unfortunately the Coastal Hyundai dealership was too slick in their sales to sell me another vehicle. Reishi really blew it when he refused to explain what a “gift” he had for me in late December. I don’t take unknown gifts from men especially salesmen in the car industry. So I was forced to go to Toyota.

Love my Sonata Hybrid

The car is the stripped down model, the third Sonata that I have owned. Great mileage!!! 45-52 0n the hywy. Only wish I had gotten the fancier model, since I travel a lot.

Better than the Prius it replaced

OK it is 2 mpg less efficient than the Prius. But this medium sized sedan with a huge trunk, excellent acceleration unlike the 2014 Prius "dragging an anchor" take off, all safety features standard, and it didn't cost me $475 extra for red.
