Surprisingly the most easily operational car I've owned.

It's safety features make it a pleasure to drive. I never thought I would use the self drive mode but I do and love it .

Great gas mileage for a Midsize Vehicle

While is great in mileage, space and stability the only disappointment i have is that the dashboard light and A/C settings keep resetting every morning.

A modernized functional vehicle with poor ownership experience

I find the owners experience to be better than other brands like Kia but still below that of my older 1999 Honda CRV. The manual actually does give oil specs, filter locations, and a helpfully detailed list of maintenance items but I wish that it went the extra mile and gave a complete list of information for these jobs like torque specs and fastener sizes. There's no reason easy maintenance items like brakes, oil and filters shouldn't be expected for an owner to choose to do themselves with just a few little pointers in the manual. More annoyingly the check oil reminder won't allow me to turn it off/reset it even after navigating through the menus. As for features within the car itself, they all work well enough but leave themselves open for easy criticism. Starting with the Electronic parking brake which is almost worth the hassle of increased work during brake pad replacement but while the car will turn it on automatically on a hill (which is nice), I haven't found a way to have it turn on whenever the car enters park or has the drivers side door open which I would prefer, if I have to turn it on manually each time I'd rather have a more traditional brake handle. some sensors also don't seem to work in heavy rain with them turning themselves off, the lane keep assist is actively trying to kill me so that stays off now and finally the strange check engine light that turned on one day and then disappeared three days later.

I love my car

Everything is working great¹. I usually get between 40-50 mpg in mixed driving, which is great. All the features on my hybrid limited are working exactly as advertised. ¹. The instrument panel resets itself at least daily. This turns off the climate control, sets interior illumination to level 1, and makes it so my app won'tturn the car on or lock or unlock the doors. It is pretty annoying, but only does it when the car is off. Only complaints are the above, and the colored LED bar is so dim it can only be seen at night. I wish it were brighter.

Comfortable. Smooth.

Runs well. Just as I expected. Gas mileage averages about 47 mpg. Often times over 50 mpg.

Over all nice vehicle, many safety features and great gas mileage

There are a few downfalls. We have a hybrid and the passengers front seat won’t go up and down so the passenger falls down into seat and has to climb out. The car has a wireless phone charger but yet you can’t use the phone wirelessly. Great safety features and excellent gas mileage.

Great gas mileage and warranty

The 2023 Sonata has great gas mileage and warranty. I enjoy the Bose speaker sound system. The seats are comfortable and the trunk has plenty of room. The dash screen is easy to read and navigate. The only thing I don't like is the noise from the drivers window. I can hear air.
