Luxury made affordable

The ride of the Santa Fe is surprisingly smooth and whether you are seating in the drivers side or the second row you will have plenty of room to relax. We have several family members that are over 6'3" and they have never complained sitting in the second row. I love the fact that the second row adjusts so that if the third row is used those passengers have more leg room. The head room is sufficient and all around makes for a very comfortable ride. The cup holders are over sized and there's plenty of spaces for storage. The stereo is not listed as high end but you would never know. The sound is comparable to the over priced sound systems in other car brands. The car will almost drive itself. Every safety feature to give you the confidence to travel with your family. In all, the Santa Fe is SUV amazing.

Only 4500 Miles

A wire that connected to the transmission fried. Dashboard said Transmission oil was in danger and to take to service center. I did immediately. No codes popped up on car's computer and they couldn't replicate. I took it home and it happened 2 more times. I took it back and now Hyundai is replacing the transmission and obviously replacing that wire. Transmission oil was never the problem.

Excellent experience

Great expierience, however we still have not recieved our spare key to our new vehicle. I have reached out to the sales peresons and have not gotten a response. Additionally a switch doesnt work that I had reported.

love my Sante Fe

My previous car was a 2009 Sante Fe. I was looking for a larger 6 passenger vehicle for my next purchase. I was 100 % sold on the Palisade until I saw the new modifications made to the Sante Fe. This car is roomy, comfortable, and a great value.

A good vehicle

Good with a few flaws. The forward attention sensing is a terrible idea. If the sun shines on the sensor, which just above center of the steering, an alarm starts going off. Also, if you wear the wrong type of sunglasses or if the lighting is wrong, the sensor also thinks you are not looking forward and will deactivate the cruise control. Part of the forward attention sensor can be turned off but, not for the cruise control. The front washer fluid spray is at the bottom of the windshield and cannot be adjusted up. The top of the windshield is very hard to get clean. Have to spray alot for the wipers to push the fluid up to the top. The owners manual is a little incomplete. I tried to find the instructions to reset the oil & finally gave up. I found instructions online. Also, I would have rather had a heated steering wheel & rear view that is light sensitive than the forward attention sensing & the highway assist features.

Great vehicle. The only disadvantage is when camera siting distance ineffective and vehicle reduces speed. Also separate alert bell when going around potholes or bumpy road surfaces.

Fun car to drive

My Santa Fe was a fun car to drive and had so many high tech features. The interior had an awesome design. I loved my Santa Fe, unfortunately it got totalled after hitting a deer. The car was less than a year old and had less than 4,000 miles on it. With the front of the car being basically plastic, it had no chance against the deer. The Santa Fe would be a good city vehicle, but not for rural Northwest Montana where you need a good strong steel bumper.
