Two Month Ownership Review

We are very happy driving the Santa Fe. It's an excellent car for long 1500 mile road trips as well as the short ones around town. Safety features like lane departure alerts & corrections and alerts about cars passing you on your left or right are essential for safety. Car has lots of room as well. Took me a while to get use to the lane departure/correction system. It does train you well. After driving Toyotas for over two decades, the Santa Fe so far has been an excellent choice. Good value.

Sante Fe mean Holy Faith!

This is a vehicle you can have faith in! It delivers everything you would want in the era of "Smartness" sometimes it thinks more than you want it to! Driving is effortless...You feel as if you are floating on a highway in the sky. I only wish it was a bit more visually appealing but it still handsome and will not disappoint you.

Went to dealership to actually look at another vehicle but when i saw the Santa Fe i had to drive it......after test drive i had to buy one....took all of 20 minutes to hammer out a deal and have loved the vehicle ever since purchasing.....dc

Silver Lining

We weren't expecting to have to buy a vehicle so hadn't done much research before we were forced to make a purchase. We initially fell in love with the look of our Santa Fe, but then all the features and warranties sealed the deal. During such a stressful time, ending up with such a great SUV that fits our family's life style perfectly really was the silver lining.

Minor Quality Issues

I have found many blunders in the paint job and issues with the lift gate alignment, some wind noise on the front passenger side and random interior trim creaks when turning. Overall quality of build is needing improvement.

I really-really enjoy getting in my Santa Fe Hybrid. It's comfortable, easy to use, rides like a more expensive car, full of wonderful technology....but most of all... IT GETS GREAT GAS MILAGE!!! There is ample luggage space, especially when the rear seats are folded. The motor is responsive and I really enjoy the lane assist features. It's simply a great vehicle. If there's one thing I would change, it's the lack of storage space in the console. It should be larger and easier to access. This is a small complaint, as I'm just having a blast driving it....especially past a gas station!

Optimistic

I love all the features of this vehicle and enjoy driving it so far. My only concern is less than 1 week after driving off the lot, the check engine light came on and the charcoal canister failed. The part was on back order. Feeling optimistic that is the only issue and will get resolved, but not a great start and have heard of issues with the Alabama manufacturer in general so keeping a close eye on everything else.
