Vehicle Performance

So far, the vehicle has performed as I have expected. I like the gas mileage. I don't like the steering correction when I'm on the highway. When passing a trailer truck and moving away from the center of the lane, the car is trying to pull me back to the center and closer to the truck.

Rough transition between the hybrid and gas engine.

Comfortable enough. However, the transition between the hybrid and gas engine needs more refinement.

It's been just over a year and we could not be more pleased.

Ride quality is our primary like from this vehicle. We've owned a Palisade and the previous Santa Fe and this is by far the nicest. Ride quality is superior to the Palisade. I could see a few more miles per gallon from the hybrid but we've done well on road trips. Not happy with not being able to disable the eye attention camera but I've gotten used to it. It would only take a software modification to accommodate that and am disappointed they've not done that. All new cars now-d-days record way too much of our personal data. It's not their car it's mine you have no business using my habits for your benefit.

Problems

This makes my second Santa Fe I had a 24 and now this 25 model. The 25 model with only 3727 miles on it broke down 110 miles from my home roadside assistant would only haul it 20 miles to the nearest dealership and it was up to me to get my family of 6 back home safely

Problems

I love my new car. My husband hates it and is sorry that we bought it. When he drives it, he gets bells and warning messages about keeping his eyes on the road and the cruise control goes on and off for no apparent reason and it aggravates him tremendously. I do not know why it works fine for me.

Great car, horrible infotainment

I love the vehicle but the infotainment set up is horrible. There should be an option to see the Apple Car play in addition to Sirius XM stations/songs/info. Additionally, in order to see what song is being played on XM, it requires hitting several buttons. The space on the screen is not utilized (when you see the song title, you're unable to see the clock). In my husband's Toyota hybrid, on his car play you can see the carplay/waze in addition to the Sirius XM information. As it stands, I spend time hitting different buttons to toggle between these which is distracting while driving. The screen is by far large enough to accomodate all of this information and should be more user friendly.
