It's okay, not great, not awful. I guess I got what I paid for...

It's fine, the interior is decent enough, there's actually enough room for my family of 3 and the two giant dogs, although I had to go with the mid level trim because I needed the brown interior and a bench seat to keep said giant dogs in the back. I would have liked the black wheels and grille but that means either a white or black interior, which doesn't work for mastiffs. Some more minor annoyances, the cruise control will NOT work with sunglasses. Self driving I could maybe understand but seriously CRUISE CONTROL? I live in Colorado, I need sunglasses, this is my biggest gripe, honestly. The rear gate opening when you approach is too sensitive and can't be canceled easily, nor will the button inside work to close it, you have to walk around to the back to push the button. Furthermore the fuel economy is NOT EVEN CLOSE to what is claimed. I'm supposed to get 35 highway, the best I've ever gotten is 27-28, and on long trips on the interstate that number is closer to 20-21, not that I truly expected 35 from a literal brick but getting something close would have been nice. The Bose stereo is a bit anemic, it sounds okay there's just a lack of bass and it doesn't really get loud, sometimes you just want to cruise down a gravel road with the windows down, sunroof open, and music blaring, and it just refuses to cooperate. While all these don't make me love the car, I guess with every other vehicle in this class being 10-20k more, I should be happy with what I got. I just crossed 7500 miles, I guess time will tell...

Good, but could be better.

I've had the car for 4 months now and have had a few problems. One was the heater didn't work, and it was determined to be a pinched hose from the factory. Now, the rear hatch won't open using the remote control. The design of the gear shift is cumbersome and very hard to get used to. And regarding the control panel, the view should be whatever you left it on when you turned the car off, it reverts to a general listing, and finally when using the Android Auto Play screen is impossible to get back to the main menu.

We are enjoying our Hyundai Santa Fe hybrid (we bought the middle style one. Not the most expensive one.) we are averaging 30 mph in town and on interstate driving. Our interstate driving was on a windy day. We do enjoy all the features it has. The downfall we see is the seats could have more cushion. I don’t feel as safe in this vehicle as I did our Ford Explorer. Our Ford just seemed like a sturdy year vehicle.

Above Average. Cool style and nice tech.

I like the styling and tech. I don’t like the transmission and I’ve had issues with tires and TPMS. Worrisome when you don’t have a spare.

Great purchase - value-packed features with very few caveats

We wanted the most compact 3-row vehicle with seats that were still usable and comfortable for our family. While we have to choose between cargo and a third row, the trade-offs are fair for this class of vehicle. Features are fantastic at the upper trim levels.

Ride quality is good, wish it had better pickup

The MPG is around 30-35, if consciously driven smoothly and maintain. Speeds under 65 or so. Go above 75 then the MPG drops. The pickup is slow for even a gasoline car. Other cars want to overtake often if we keep it quiet for good MPG / performance. The interior quality is nice for Calligraphy trim. Unfortunate that we are seeing minor issues; the plastic beside arm rest fell off, there is some weird sound if the fan speed is high. Not a deal breaker level issues. Wish there was more Quality testing on the car before delivery.
