Lovin' my 2025 Santa Cruz SE AWD

Liking/loving almost every aspect of the Santa Cruz SE AWD. Smooth ride, good mileage, adequate and peppy power with the base engine. However, Hyundai absolutely MUST program an option for the user to turn off the "Inattentive Driver Warning". I live in a rural state, and we use the WHOLE road, sometimes needing to gently swerve to one side of the lane or the other to avoid road hazards like tire pieces, and over-wide farm machinery in other lanes. Also, all our roads don't yet have the clearly painted lines the camera apparently needs to "see" to judge car position in the lane. The result is the IDW going off every 10 minutes or so. I drove 44 miles in 45 minutes last week, and the IDW alarm went off 4-5 times in that one trip. That's baloney -- give owners the option to turn the IDW OFF!

Thoroughly enjoyable to use and drive.

Better than expected. So much easier to get in and out of than my Tacoma. At my age I don’t need a big bed, just a bed for the few simple outdoor chores around the house. The infotainment system is pleasure to set up and use compared to the super complex system in my 2024 Venza. Plus the better than expected gas mileage - averaging between 24 to 29 depending on road and conditions. Best ever gas mileage was 36.1 mpg at a steady 55 for 55 miles distance. Found the performance more than adequate for the non turbo. Easy to pass other cars on two lane roads. No hesitation, just get up and go. The great comfortable ride is the topper of it all. Wish they had a hybrid!

This car is truly remarkable. It has an enormous number of features to help me drive safely. Lane assist. Driving with speed control that actually follows speed limits. Lane change warnings. Backup assist. And warnings. Couldn’t be happier.

LOVE my SANTA CRUZ

Sturdy, practical FUN. I love how comfortable the Santa Cruz is it drive. Seating is comfy, plenty of leg room, front and back. The outline is funky and different from other vehicles. The truck bed has been enormously useful with our garden projects. Wish I had gotten a model with the roof rack and tow hitch though.

I love the updates to the 2025 Hyundai Santa Cruz

As the previous owner of a 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz Limited, I am excited to report that I have upgraded that vehicle to a new 2025 Hyundai Santa Cruz XRT. I am thrilled with the updated design of the interior, especially the newly redesigned dash and controls. I am also impressed that, even though I have moved from a Limited to the XRT, which includes suspension tweaks that enhance its off-roading capabilities, the suspension and ride have not been compromised at all. As a result, I still experience the same comfortable, smooth performance that I had with my previous Santa Cruz Limited. Keep up the great work with this vehicle, as I feel the Hyundai Santa Cruz is one of the few SAVs that is worth every penny.
