Drove it 4000 miles and now they don't know what's wrong with it.

I bought my 2025 Santa Cruz in January 2025. In March in was making a strange vibration so I took it in. They've had it 3 weeks. No one knows what it wrong or how to fix it. So it just sits there. No one calls me, so I just keep extending the rent car they say they will reimburse me for once the design engineers figure out what is wrong. Warranty Customer Service transferred me to another department that is over the buy-back program, but after waiting 4 days to hear from them, warranty called me back to say they pushed me back over to them. Warranty has now kicked me back over again, "escalated", whatever that means. Not sure how to feel. I haven't been treated badly really, but feel like I could be treated better certainly.

Brake pedal / booster is extremely noisy and no one will fix it

Bought truck new. Brake booster/pedal is very squeaky and feels wrong. Taken it in 6 times and was told to drive it 5,000+ miles to break it in. No one will fix it. Complained to customer care as well. I'm very OCD and I hate my vehicle for it. I don't even like looking at it. Considering trading it in only after 4 months of ownership.

Unreliable vehicle

Within two weeks of owning this car I had to replace the driver aide headlight, the trim on the driver side front fender, the lift gate spontaneously came off the hinges, and I believe the distracted driver warning system turning off the adaptive cruise control is very dangerous as it takes away a layer of defense agains an accident.

Waste of money,

As advertised this vehicle was supposed to be an activity package and capable of towing about "5,000" lbs. Can't do many activities if it can only drive point A to point B . This vehicle isn't capable of towing anything like advertised..also the dealer did not disclose or make us aware that the tow hitch was not available for this model and needs to be added on as a modification... maybe a week after having it, we noticed it wasn't able to tow anything. We contacted the dealership and the dealership refused to add the modification to our vehicle and contract...I dont recommend this vehicle to anyone. For the price it was supposedly worth. It didn't even come with towing capability. If fact it was sold separately... waste of time and money. As a consumer I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who has a working lifestyle. It's only good for commuting and looks .

2025 Santa Cruz

Bluelink doesn't work and when trying to get the issue fixed have had to miss work because of it. Still havent had the issue fixed. Have done everything that bluelink has asked. Tried to have it serviced for the head unit but when dealing with the customer services person and explaining that this vehical is my only transportation they didn't car and offered me a ride home but couldn't give a loaner car till the issues is fixed. Would recommend hyundai of fort myers at all.

Unimpressed

The basic engine is weak compared to other similar class vehicles. Turbo should be the norm. Also, what’s the deal with tow kits? No harness available, no standard tow option on a “truck” while all small trucks to include ridgeline and maverick include such as part of their package. Also, right off tail lights leak and have to be replaced. The cluster speaker sounds blown and makes a strange high pitched vibration noise. The seats are awfully uncomfortable, and the space for the driver is too small and uncomfortable. I hit my knees on both sides of the cockpit. I am extremely disappointed and will never buy Hyundai again.

Poor service at Simmons Rockwell

Bought new. At 1400 miles in shop twice and for 31 total days for an injector wiring problem. Car computer said were the problem was, but it took Simmons Rockwell all that time to find and fix it.
