The Hyundai Kona is definitely a car
This is my second Kona, I had a 2022 SE model and now I have a 2025 SEL Convinence. Overall. Its very nice. The car has everything that a new car should have. The interior is nice. The seats are comfortable enough for most drives under 4 hours. I'm 6' 2" and I fit better in the 2025 vs my last Kona. The interior is built with nice feeling materials. I did have a scratch on my dash from the factory that I cant do anything about. Now, do not let the next few things I have to say detract too much from the overall experience. The transmission is bleh... the car moves and thats all that really matters but its a CVT transmission and it just feels boring and annoying to drive. The automatic cruise control and lane keep assist need some serious attention. Multiple times the automatic cruise control has hit the brakes when going up a hill thinking there was a car in front of me. With little knowledge of how the systems in the car communicate I feel this could be fixed by using the built in camera to detect if there really is a car infront or not.
Overall Im happy. I have a nice new car that will last me a long time. It just has some annoyances that should be looked at.
