Turbo is awesome

If you can get the T version (with turbo) be careful cause it hauls butt. I’m barely 1200 miles in but so far the only thing I don’t like is the strange messages that the car sends me for no apparent reason.

Best midsize SUV

The 2025 Kona has unique, aesthetic styling. The technology is through the roof hands down the best. I am very tech oriented and appreciate the Kona.

Rough start

Bought a 2025 Hyundai Kona in December…blue link never worked correctly and had a ticket open for 4 months unresolved. Transmission went out was in the shop for over a month. Had to lemon law the car. Fast forward and got a new one yesterday..blue link system has the exact same errors as the first. Bought it yesterday and have to make an appointment because the moonroof is not sealing properly.

Great ride, beautiful style

I love my new Kona. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was what I think is a lack of storage in the center console. There is only a small closed compartment and then an open holder under it, I don't love that. I used to keep tools, etc in my old car and I don't really like it in the open bin. The other reason it didn't get 5 stars is the comfort of the seat, hard on a long ride.

I love my Kona. It's a fun little car to drive.

The car had some problems right from the start. I had to replace the air flaps and the air flap sensors before I had the car two weeks! They should have replaced both parts at the same time but they didn't. I was ready to give the car back. I had to go into the service department three times to get it fixed. The first time I received a loaner car that smelled like smoke. I drove it as little as possible. The next time, I told them to call me when my parts came in and I waited for them to be installed.

Just ok

Loved my 2019 Kona but don’t love this as much. Placement of gear shift as a button is awful - it is hidden beneath the wiper pulls and is not visible at all if the wheel is turned. Also I find if you don’t close the doors hard enough and try to re-close it, it jams and is hard to reopen
