Excellent Car

I was not looking for a Hyundai but my husband has a Tucson, so after visiting a few other dealers, I went to our local Hyundai dealer. I was so pleasantly surprised by all of the included features and the excellent look and feel, that I bought it on the spot. I've had it for a year and I absolutely love it.

Lots of issues

On the first day of owning the brand new Kona, my cruise control would turn itself off and slam the brakes on. Went back to dealership, and was told it just had a gremlin but no recalls.... Went in several times with the same problem, but not answers was told to just drive and record myself (against the law) to show them the problem. Now while driving, the cruise still has problems and the instrument panel will just go completely black... that means you can not see how fast you are going or anything! Guess what? No recalls for that either... Oh and I'm on my second battery in one year....

A fun car for the price

I really enjoy driving my car, but I have had a few issues. The biggest for me is that if you cannot start the car, you are unable to put the car into neutral gear. My garage is one car wide, and two deep, and when I was unable to start the car, I had to get a tow truck to pull the car out of the garage to get to the second car.

The 2025 is larger than the 2023 which is unexpected, sits higher and the 4WD is AWESOME!
