Better than a Tesla

This car is comparable to the Tesla Model 3 in size, styling and performance but much easier to drive. Controls are easy to find and work consistently.

Very feature rich with room for improvement

Pros: Decent suspension Good mix of physical and digital controls Great range 800V architecture for fast charging Easy to switch between drive modes / regen modes Amazing adaptive cruise and lane assist Ambient lighting is nice Walk up unlock is great and works 80% of the time Awesome interior storage options in the front (in the door, under the console) Cons: Seat sits a little high. I’m only 5’10 and feel like even at the lowest position I’m a bit too high Only wired CarPlay. I would almost say it’s unacceptable to only have wired CarPlay as an option at this point Have to apply for NACS adapter Recycled plastic interior feels a little cheap Maybe a little too bulky / bubbly shaped. 2026 seems to be much more sleek which I’m glad for Front low speed proximity sensor is too sensitive and you need to turn the setting off and manually press the P button to enable them to not be constantly beeped at

OK. I'm Pretty Jazzed about my New Ioniq 6

As the title implies I'm happy with my car.There are lots of positives and a few negatives that I will include. Positives: Unusual look, it has really grown for me.Not a lot of these on the road.Bunches of 5s though. Efficient operation. Low Cd always interests me. Comfortable and easy to drive. With any car there will be some points that may be an issue, here's mine: I wanted 18" wheels on the SEL trim package...... I was used to a Walk-Away Lock. I had to purchase an after market module to have this feature. I live in a remote desert with bad roads, I must have a spare tire . I was again, able to purchase a spare.

Fantastic Vehicle

Incredible car - The design and color stand out, looking very sporty and sleek. The ride is comfortable, quiet, and there are tons of features, making usability very simple. If I had one complaint, it's that it makes a lot of beep tones. Several of these can be turned off, but for instance closing the trunk or turning on i-Pedal can't and are unnecessary, in my opinion. Additionally, sometimes when stopped behind a vehicle (at a light, drive-through, etc) the warning sensors go off as though you will hit, even though you're stopped. This is meaningless in the grand scheme of the car though, I'm thrilled with it every day!

I overall love it. Missing features are annoying.

I love driving this car. I am very much enjoying the transition to EV life. The drive is fun and comfortable. I was disappointed by the things that were omitted from the SEL model. Basic features that are included in base line models of other vehicles were not included in this one and I find that rather annoying. The biggest omission has been seat memory. This is such basic staple of modern car design that it's almost unbelievable that you would even sell a car without it. This is not a feature that is only available in the top trim model of any other car but this one. Hugely inconvenient and hugely disappointing. This should be saved with the user profile. The other feature I am longing for is a small inconvenience but would be a "nice to have". Automatic wipers. You have all of the sensors, it's silly not to just include this feature. To summarize, I love this car. There are a few things about it that still annoy me.

1374 miles -- car died

Running fine and I loved it. The one morning, could not unlock car (FOB battery fine); using myHundai app wouldn't unlock either. Used the manual key and then the process of using FOB to push the start. Dead. AAA checked the 12 volt; it had a good charge. Main battery was 76%. Had to have it towed to local Hyundai Service in Richmond CA. Service said wait 48 hours before contacting.

I think the car is really nice. A strong competitor to Tesla model 3. I do have a wish list for some software changes. But other than that, it's a lovely car.
