Very nice if looking to jump into electric market.
With closing in on 9000 miles on my 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5 I can say overall I am happy with the vehicle. I traded in a 2023 Volkswagen ID.4 as I was looking for an increased amount of range out of a vehicle aside from the overall range the ID.4 was a great vehicle.
The Hyundai is roomie and comfortable in the inside cabin and the outside has a distinct but nice style to it, not as bland as some of the others in the EV field. There are some things that I do wish were a little improved in the interior, including a better Center console space as there was little storage there, but it’s not ideal breaker
The thing I was most impressed with was the range of the vehicle gets whereas my Volkswagen topped out at about 274 miles at 100% charge I get that at 80% with the Hyundai and a 320 mile range approximately on 100% charge to give an example. This makes my trip to Disney in Anaheim, which is a 4 Hour Dr. much better as I only have to stop once to charge the NACS charging is also a game changer as the vehicle charger is a lot faster than my previous at times getting 220 kW charging speeds
Overall, if you’re interested in an electric vehicle, want something that doesn’t look boring and has just enough features that you feel that you aren’t overpaying just for it being an electric I think this is a decent vehicle.
