Easy to drive, spacious when needed, but lacks clarity on features
The Elantra is incredibly easy to drive. It sticks to the road, is fairly responsive, and feels safe. The Elantra feels solid on the road. I’m usually driving a big work truck, but getting into my Elantra I appreciate the large field of view.
One of my biggest complaints with the car is the lack of clarity between trims and features. During my presale, we set up BlueLink. That’s great, however the SEL Sport trim does not have BlueLink. This makes absolutely 0 sense to me. Part of the sale point for me was the BlueLink features and subscription. When researching (I should’ve done more) it was not immediately clear which vehicles have BlueLink. It skips a model then another has one and skips another. Why??? It was enough to confuse the sales rep as well. Because it had been 2 months already, I just decided I had to stick with it.
Otherwise, I absolutely love the car. I have no complaints other than BlueLink.
