Terrible dealer experience, quality problems

Crown Hyundai was terrible. We first had a deposit on the car, then decided to cancel, later changed our minds again. The did not honor tue original price. They damaged the car. Found metal damage under car. Car was delivered with undersides coated in mud.

Love it! So close to being a perfect 5 stars!

Only reason it’s 4 stars instead of 5 (consider it a 4.8) is simply because it’s missing simple things that the same car gets in other regions. I’m talking the rear A/C vents, the alcantara interior options (for the center console, parking brake, steering wheel, etc), among other additional options. Things they could’ve added or at least had available as add-ons that they just choose to not make available for the US market. Other than that I am very happy with the car and plan on keeping it until it doesn’t run anymore.

Buy this Car

Spirited, quick, quirky, comfortable and loads of fun while a daily driver. This car is a bit of a beast but still very friendly. You can use every aspect of the car on a daily basis and you do not need to mortgage your future to do so.

Octane learning ruined my tack day

I sold my 2021 Type-R Limited Edition and bought this as my new daily/track car. This car is almost as good as the type R at everything it does for a bargain. As a daily it’s great, comfy, perfect size and fun to drive. As a track car it is unbelievably frustrating because of OCTANE LEARNING!!! Wasted a whole track session trying to get it to let me use all of the car I paid for with no luck, did my remaining sessions maxed out at 15psi and hitting less stop speed in the straights than I did in my stock 21 wrx. Incredibly disappointing and frustrating. I otherwise love this car but couldn’t recommend it to any of my track/autocross friends for this reason. If that is solved I will likely be a Hyundai enthusiast for life

Dash screen issues

I love the vehicle but I already have issues with the electronics at least than 2000 miles in. The dash screen frequently flickers off after I drive it a couple blocks and stays in a reboot cycle leaving me unable to access my speedometer, or any other important gauges or information.

I love this car

So i have wanted an Elantra N for a few years and test drove the N line and was dead set on it from that point. For the price you cannot beat it in performance compared to other performance sedans like the civic type r or wrx. It’s amazing to drive, comfortable in normal and eco, and drives like it’s on rails in N and sport mode with the bucket seats cupping perfectly to hold you in the seat. Only wish is wireless CarPlay but it’s not the biggest deal because music sounds a lot crisper and louder using just bluetooth

Overall? Not too bad of a car.

I’ve owned my 2025 Elantra N for a few months now, and from what I can tell, it’s got its fun upsides and minimally noticeable downsides. The design of the car as well as its exterior looks are great! The interior is also a really nice performance touch for its price point. The bucket seats and steering wheel are pieces that in a huge fan of. The performance of the car is really great! Its lightweight design and (decently) powerful turbo I4 make it a really great competitor for its class. The active exhaust system is another thing I LOVE that’s in my car and use it almost practically on the daily, I can never get tired of it. The performance brakes are something I LOVE in my car that have saved me a lot from crazy drivers on the road i have to deal with sometimes. The tires that were chosen are a great choice by the N division too! Every turn I make feels confident and smooth. And the NGS button? A very smart idea that I’ve used when I really needed to. Overall, the cars amazing! However… The cars engine feels like it can go more, DO MORE. 300-350 HP should’ve been what it can make instead of 286 temporary with NGS and 276 without. The interior creaks a little if slight pressure is put on it. The whole “Octane learning” thing is something that I understand yet find to be too repetitive. Like I get that it’s for “track use” and unlocks all the power but that’s almost like paywalling a car that you BOUGHT. I’m not saying it should be removed or that it’s BAD, but it should be fixed to be made easier for the car to learn. And the radiator (while being great as is) COULD do a hair better in terms of keeping the engine and oil temp at optimal temperature levels. Of everything I’ve noticed, to me, this is what’s the most important factors I’ve seen in it. Besides that, it’s an amazing car that I feel is really good for its price and performance range. While a lot can be improved on it, it still is a really great car by a company that finally took bravery steps in the right direction. The N division was their smartest move yet.
