Vehicle robust engine design FLAWD!

I owned a second generation Yukon and I absolutely loved it over 200,000 mi on it never had a major problem with the engine. My biggest issue with the second generation was the right front hub. I decided to go with the 3rd gen thinking it would be the same experience. But I am so disappointed in the engine in that thing. I have the AFM and the dod and the lifters go bad on it constantly. I replace the engine with a remanufactured one and still after 12,000 mi got another problem with injector 7. The the lifter went bad again and that was after 12,000 mi. I wasn't even done completely breaking in the new engine or get a 6.2 l in there? It'll be a truck that you'll love for the rest of your days. GM. You have to do better with that engine design. The whole active fuel management is terrible.

2012 Denali XL

Overall haven't had any major issues. Must routine and minor maintenance issues.
