Genesis finance

Leased a g70 and was sent home in a gv70. The next day we went to pick up our vehicle and decided the very next day to return and get gv 70. They said no problem and we moved forward. When we got the g70 we traded in our 2020 Mustang. They gave us 25,000 for it and asked how much to put down. I not knowing anything about leased vehicles said okay and put 13,000 on the vehicle. When we decided to trade for the gv 70 they said no problem when we received check from dealership for the two different vehicles to just bring the one back and it was no big deal. We received the check for the original deal for g70 and okay now the second? It never came and I didn’t think too much about it because they had our vehicle and we had ours. Then I started getting text and calls from dealership about check. I informed them we never got the other check to return. This goes on and I m starting to get concerned because the check hasn’t come and they keep asking about it. So I go in and talk to them because it needs to be resolved. The finance guy tells me no he needs. Personal check from me and I state what for and he says the down payment on the gv70. I was very confused nd said we gave you 13,000 and he said no that was with the g70 and I stated no the 13,000 was the down payment. He said no that went with other lease again. We went round and he stated that we lost that 13,000 when we turned car back in the next day jd got the gv 70. So the dealership keeps the money I ask? And he says no it goes with other car nd so look up vehicle (g70) and they have it listed for full price. This to me reeks of. Scam. At no time did they say we would have give them another 13,000 for gv70. Nor did O agree to nothing of the sort. I also asked them to give back mustang and I would give back car and the money back. They said they could absolutely could not do that. Worst experience and a crooked place to go. I will never get a genesis again and do not speak favorable about the dealership.

2026 G70 3.3 Sports Prestige: Shattered Roof Panel after two months

For the money, it's loaded with performance and high tech features. It's incredibly fast and fun to drive with some downsides which I'll list in the PROs & CONs below. My immediate concern is that the roof panel essentially exploded - not sure how else to describe it - when I was driving on the freeway the other day. I'm currently trying to work with Genesis of Minneapolis to file a warranty claim. If you're looking at this vehicle, skip the 2.5 go directly to the 3.3. The Prestige level trim offers the most bells and whistles including heads up display. Whether I can recommend this vehicle will depend on the outcome of my warranty claim.

Sport car old electronics

Sporty car, drives great. Electronics terrible. Needs wireless CarPlay and return to hard buttons for exterior door lock/unlock. The new door handles are awful compared to the old simple button on my 2019 g70, new one only works half the time. Plastic exterior trunk panel also a bit cheap.

Such a down grade from my 2023

Such a down grade from my 2023. Very disappointed. You got rid of the trunk release, now I find out that I can't make the heat go the way I want. I just have to freeze until it decides to warm up. I hate that when I unlock the door it only unlocks the drivers side. Buying from Naples Genesis was an absolute nightmare from start to finish.

The G70 sports out performs all the high end competition in Style, Comfort, Quality and easy to use technology. All of that for less than thousands of dollars when compared with American built and German built luxury vehicles.

My first Genesis

I really enjoy driving my Genesis, it handles well, has amazing pick up and is very smooth. The sport mode is my favorite but I need to check the speed, she moves. My biggest issue with the vehicle is the internal condensation or moisture that runs down the interior of the front windshield, I am unsure what causes it and why it only happens sporadically. The other issue is that some of the cool features don’t always work either, the auto trunk open as you approach the vehicle hardly ever works and then when I don’t need it to open, it does, randomly. Then there are the driver alert/sensors that randomly alert like if I drive 10 minutes down the road and I receive the “ you might consider taking a break” message or check the back seat when nothing is in the back seat. Sometimes I struggle to get the locks to open and it definitely doesn’t work if you are holding something like socks in your hand I haven’t had time but will bring it to the dealership to have it checked out

Love my new Genesis

It took me two years to find a car that I wanted to replace my Hyundai Azera - I loved that car. We’ve owned BMW and Lexus in the past, and those were considered during my car shopping experience as well, but in the end, Genesis was the car that gave me the feeling of a luxury vehicle that’s also sporty. The dealership experience was amazing - they definitely went above and beyond in customer service. I highly recommend purchasing a Genesis - you won’t be disappointed.
