Awesome Ride

I had been looking for a luxury EV for about three years. I owned the first year Hyundai Genesis (2009) and never had any mechanical problems after 15 years and 170k miles. So I had to look at the new Genesis models when considering an EV. I purchased the 2026 prestige model of the Electrified GV70. This is an amazing car and is very luxurious, quiet, and very fast. I am very impressed with all aspects of the design and the build qualify and can't image a better EV. I also like the fact that Genesis quickly cut over to using the Tesla adapter and is working to incorporate CarPlay Ultra into the head unit. The Genesis design team really build a miracle machine!

Worth getting the 2026 refresh

Great premium EV option. Very practical but also excellent interior especially at the Prestige trim. Not too big and has plenty of room for passengers and cargo. Highly recommend!

Lovely car, but keep your eyes open.

I like the car very much. It suits my uses very well (driving to/from work, errands, etc.) Very luxurious interior, great sound system! Ride is very comfortable and quiet. I feel like am riding a cloud. Some of the functional dashboard controls may need better groupings for the driver's benefit. Phone projection and design philosophy for switching inputs automatically is abhorrent! It ruins the audio entertainment experience completely. Wired or Bluetooth- same issue. Regen braking and friction braking could use better blending, especially as the car stops. The car acts a little slippery under extreme acceleration, possibly related to my inexperience with driving such a powerful car. 'Remaining miles' indicator overestimates by 20-25%, meaning that the actual miles are about 80% of what is indicated. Great car for specific use cases, may not compete well with the plug-in hybrids outside that specific use profile.

Comfortable and quiet luxury electric SUV

The Genesis GV70 EV is a comfortable and quiet luxury electric SUV. The ride is incredibly smooth, and the cabin feels high-end thanks to the massage seats, customizable ambient lighting, and a rich-sounding B&O audio system. It’s a pleasure to drive on my daily commute or a longer road trip. The interior space feels a bit tight for its class, but overall the GV70 EV has been a fantastic addition to my garage.
