Overall a great car

This car is great to drive. Handling is excellent. I love the single pedal driving. The infotainment system is a bit clunky -- sometimes it takes a while to start up. The fingerprint login is TERRIBLE. I never get logged in immediately. I have to try and try and try to get it to work.

Decent electric car, but SW needs improvement

I drove a Tesla for 6 years and changed to Electrified GV70 for purely political reasons. The GV70, in iPedal mode, is the closest mid size SUV to driving like a Tesla, but Tesla SW is far superior. There is a lot I like about the GV70, but some SW aspects are very frustrating.

For me this car has been a wonderful introduction to an all electric vehicle! I cannot imagine returning to a petrol-engined vehicle. Aesthetically appealing, very well appointed, high build quality and fun to drive.

High Quality but EV Fails

I can’t blame anyone but myself for purchasing an EV. The GV70 is a peppy drive in a high quality vehicle. The problem is the 230 mile range. No fuss access to fast charging is a big problem as well. Until the infrastructure improves and the batteries have much more mileage capacity, EV’s are not a viable option for myself.

Would like to see you tighten up information about various features

It’s difficult to easily find features that you need to change. And, sometimes I change them and they don’t save. Example, temperature in centigrade or Fahrenheit. I’m sure there’s a reason that it doesn’t save when I change it… But I can’t easily find out what I’m doing wrong. Also, it would be helpful if there were a readily available list of features on the steering wheel as well as the screen options.

Amazing vehicle, great build quality & comfort - limited range tho

Just like the review title states, it's an amazing vehicle. I traded in a 2018 Jaguar XE-S (slightly modified) and don't regret a thing. It's well built, sturdy feeling and there's a lot of sound dampening. The ride is incredibly quiet, it's so quiet that it's a bit freaky to be honest. It performs very well. It's zippy in its acceleration. The handling is well balanced albeit you can feel the added weight beneath you. The brakes perform well for a +6,000# vehicle. The highway driving assistant works amazing in gridlock traffic which I'm often in. And it charges very quickly. The only shortcoming of the GV70 Electrified, is the limited range being 236 miles - which of course you will not hit, it's more like 175 miles realistically with the radio on AC/Heat going, and other items that create an electrical draw. Seeing that I live and work all over Chicago, this is not a big deal. If you're going to take a road trip however, you'll want to plan in advance and I would recommend finding charging stations within 150 miles of each other so you don't get range anxiety.
