Horrible, kick rocks kid.
Second time ive had to either arrange my own parts, tows, or try coordinating work with simple people, gave the car back woth sway bar ends swaying in the breeze, not connected. You should be ashamed of yourselves raping disabled people more than anyone around. Only performance your getting there is quickly draining bank acct. good luck pal. 👍 alot of great shops in Coventry. This ain't one of them.
SHANE M. from Shane's Auto Truck & Performance responded on 02/01/2026 03:59 AM

In response to Mr Macossio's review about the incident of sway bar links. This concern was a situation that occured 05/19/2025 after a repair that was made to his vehicle on 3/6/2025. NOT a recent accurate of review however I would like to put in to context his disgruntled review. March 6, 2025 Mr Marcoccio contacted us ans scheduled an appointment for a power steering concern. After evaluating the concern it was determined that the vehicle needed a new Power Steering Rack & Pinion. Yes Mr Marcoccio supplied his own SALVAGE YARD part as he did not want to pay the cost of a Re-Manufactured. We would not purchase and try to sell a used rack and pinion but agreed in order to save him money we would install his used one if he sourced one on his own. Later on May 19, 2025 he contacted us ans stated we left his stabilizer bar links, ("sway bar ends") loose. We quickly got his vehicle on a lift and evaluated it. As it turned out one of his stabilzer bar links was PHYSICALL SNAPPED IN HAVE due to age of the component. In addition one of his plastic splash shields in the wheel well was also broken and detached causing even more rattling and clunking. We secured the shield on his 2010 Ford Fusion, Installed two new stabilizer bar links and charged him for PART ONLY. NO LABOR even though we cannot predict a part physically breaking. NOW COMES THE REASON FOR THE 01/30/2026 disgruntled review, Sometime back in Sept 2025 he contacted us for a price on a Water Pump that may be failing in his car. We estimated it, gave him a price and he never called back to schedule. He contacted us the week on January 26-30, 2026 and scheduled an appointment with us to evaluate a lack of heat concern, and fluctuating temerature gauge. He proceeded to explain it was not the water pump as he had that replaced at another service facility.  On January 29, 2026 we evaluated his vehicle. The cooling system was frozen solit, We assumed not enough antifreeze if any and a complete frozen block of ice. We asked if he was leaking antifreeze before the concern happened and if he may have added water, He stated no, and that someone recently installed in a water pump at another shop a few months ago. We zattempted to locate any leaks however could not pressure test the system as it was frozen solid. Advised we would need to thaw the vehicle out inside our bay however time in a bay does cost money and it is well below freezing in our area at this time of the year. He was obviously very angry at this time and told us to call his father on his behalf. His father was contacted on the same day of January 30, 2026. We explained the situation.  We advised him of charges for us to thaw the vehicle out to locate anyu leaks and that ice expands and can break, crack and cause severe damage to cooling system components.  to return his vehicle to that shop that installed the water pump. His fater stated he would tow the vehicle back to the shop that serviced the water pump in the fall of 2025. The client did have to arrange and pay for tow as we advised the vehicle should not be driven. We did of course we charged him our standard coolant system inspection and pressure testing to cover our technicians time. The total charge was $89.99. As we understand the clients frustration, we are a profit organization not a charity. Our prices are non negotiable.
