First time service at SLV Auto Repair
I was there for a diagnostic check of a recently purchased used vehicle. A friend is a customer there and she reported to me that they didn’t overcharge her compared to a quote she got from another garage. So I liked what she told me. SLV Auto seemed fair, straight forward, answered my questions well.

Brakes Replacement and More
The staff are extremely knowledgeable and they fully discuss all the parameters of the repair scenario with me, prior to taking action. This includes notifying me of other vehicle repair needs that they've identified in my vehicle, while researching the original repair need. Accept that they are super busy always, so schedule your appointment timely to your needs, and be patient. You may have to wait weeks for their repair services, but they will give you real peace of mind, in the end!

Willing to go the extra mile.
After initially coming in for a diagnosis and general checkup on the vehicle, I was met with a plan of action and fairly priced work. When the initial problem wasn’t fixed, the head mechanic personally went on a ride along to experience the problem and offer plans towards working to fix the issue.
Nice professional staff, quick service when you can get a spot!

The only AAA affiliated shop in SLV
I had to be towed here as they were the only option. They are not open on weekends and my car broke down on Friday night. They didn't call me or return my call on Monday so I had to drive 45 minutes to even talk to them. Once they actually looked at it, my car was fixed quickly.

They're better than other shops in the area so worth the wait
We needed a new mechanic since it turned out our other, Good Speed Auto, didn't know what they were doing. A friend recommended SLV Auto Repair so we made an appt. We had to wait a week for the oil change but that just proves how busy and trusted SLV's shop is. The young woman at the front desk was courteous and knowledgeable. We have an appt next week for an oil change and brake job for a second vehicle.The body shop in the area uses SLV for any mechanial work they need done on accident vehicles so if they trust SLV it's just another reason I know I can too.
