Left my car to bleed the air out of the brake system, next day went to pick up my vehicle and I was charged $700 for the service and I was told that the car needed a new ABS actuator and the price for the labor and parts was over $5000.
Before I left the shop the front desk man also said that they may be interested in buying the vehicle, because the owner has a car fleet and I should expect a call from them with an offer. ( Thankfully that never happened)
I had some doubts about the diagnosis performed by them and decided to bring the car to the near by Toyota dealership for a second opinion, sure enough I was informed by the dealership that the issue with the brake has nothing to do with the ABS actuator and the problem was actually the rear drum brakes pan and shoes.
At the end Toyota dealership charged me $1400 for diagnosis, parts, labor, air bleeding.
I went back to their shop, explained the situation to the front desk man and he said he was going to talk to the shop owner and at the end he called me saying nothing else could be done.
Shame on you ONB Automotive Repair.
