I Feel Confident with Them
I feel really good about them and the work they’ve done on my car. And this is coming from someone who knows nothing about car stuff and is always wary that mechanics are either going to totally rip me off or not do a repair well.
My experience with them started with a recommendation from a quick oil change place about a back turn signal that was out and needed a special tool to get into. I stopped by there and they immediately came out to the parking lot, fixed my light, and sent me on my way in under 5 minutes. And didn’t charge me anything at all! And this was even with all their bays full. They didn’t take my name or number, try to upsell me, or push me to come back or recommend them to others. Just a really quick fix, smile & wave. It’s so uncommon to have something great like that happen!
Maybe next experience was the same. Another turn signal went out months later and the exact same treatment from them which meant it wasn’t a fluke and that’s just how they do business here. Really nice & kind people. This time the person who changed my turn signal heard me talking about a recent oil change I had done and let me know that their price for the same oil change was over $40 less than what I had paid elsewhere plus they rotate tires as part of every oil change. Definitely not something my old place ever did!
Because of the good service I had had so far and the good feeling I got from them, I asked about them looking into an oil leak issue that I had had for a while. They got me in really quickly to take a look and were very upfront about what pricing would be. Free diagnostic unless they had to take parts off to look deeper into the vehicle and then $120 if they had to do a deeper dive.
They diagnosed the issue and said it could also include this other thing but they wouldn’t know until they were inside fixing the first issue and could see it. I really appreciated that they didn’t do the deeper dive charge of $120 during the inspection since they were going to have to be all up in there later anyway to fix the first issue. They gave me an estimate of what the cost would be for the first issue and then the cost of if there was the second issue too.
They were able to schedule me in a few days later to get the repair work done (it wasn’t something that needed to be done immediately). They fixed the first issue and let me know that yes, there was the second issue but that it could wait and be fine for a while or I could get it done now and save a little bit on labor cost since they were already all up in there. I didn’t feel pressured AT ALL to get the second issue fixed right then, but ultimately decided to get it done for my own peace of mind.
They had everything done on time when they said they would and came in at almost exactly what they had estimated the cost to be. They even took me to work & picked me back up! I work really close to the shop but I’m not sure if that’s something they normally do or not. Either way I really appreciated it!
I have a really great feeling about this shop and have had excellent service so far. I’ve already recommended them to all my co-workers. :)

Always a great experience
We have taken our cars here for over 20 years and appreciate the service and honesty that they provide. I have never heard any negative feedback from anyone that I recommended go there. Best of all they never try to upsell you on work that your vehicle doesn’t need like many shops (and even dealerships) do!

Great repair shop
I was very satisfied with the service I received at Tigard Premier Auto Care. I expected my car to be in the shop for two weeks and the repairs were done in one week (engine replacement). The final cost was within a few dollars of the estimate that was given to me. P

Best mechanic anywhere
I love this shop and have been taking my car there for years. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. They take great care of me and are proactive about keeping the car in good shape. Fair, honest and have great communication. One of the best local businesses in Tigard.
