Our dream has always been to own and operate a mechanic shop here in Kirksville. Our owners, Michael Mathes, Mikel Meeker, and Virkita Thomas, went through various schools and mechanic jobs before opening Mikes’ Auto Service Center on April 10th, 2023. A/c work
I made an appointment with Mike, to look at my a/c unit not working. I had to cancel and reschedule, but he got me worked right in and fixed the issue, In seemingly no time at all. As him and his crew was multi tasking I was asking questions and they seamlessly answered everything I asked. Very respectful, responsive and reasonable considering the economy we all are dealing with

Mike found a problem with the brakes which another shop overlooked. I was very grateful as we are going on a vacation and this could have caused us to have to replace the rear rotors had he not found the problem.

This is the second vehicle I have taken to Mikes, and I will continue to take my vehicles there. I took my explorer in for a diagnosis, and they had it done in under an hour. I will take it back to get the problem fixed. As always they were very honest, and straight forward. I highly recommend them to anyone!

They've always treated me right!
I've been taking my Ford to Mikes' Auto since they opened and they've always treated me right! They take care of my oil changes and regular service work, and whenever they've noticed additional service needs, they discuss it very forthright and honestly. They do great work, they work quickly, communicate very well, and all at honest prices.
