Amazing
My husband and I were on our way from MA to NY on 31st of August and our truck broke down about an hour away from our destination in CT. Nelson Towing company scammed us and changed us and never came. Other towing companies couldn’t come due to sort staff and others were closed. So we had to sleep on the side of exit 8A until 7AM for a tow to come and he called Midas and asked if they could help us ASAP because we were not from there. They accepted. However the problem was more serious than expected so we had to leave the truck there and go to NY as planned. Midas kept in touch with everything going on. In the end they couldn’t fix the issue because a new transmission would take 6 weeks to get there and obviously I wouldn’t go home 2 hours away without our truck however they were amazing people. Very nice and fixed a lot on the truck. I would recommend them for simple issues ! They also get all their parts from the dealer so no worries on old /scam parts going into your vehicle! Plus they always give you an estimate on pricing before you accept the service. All service done shows up on Carfax ! Highly recommend!!

Rear brake service
Overall, I had a very good experience at Midas. Everyone was friendly and explained the work needed on my brakes. I would have preferred after my cars work was completed to have been notified sooner since I was there in the waiting area. Great job on the brake service.??

Muffler probkem
I went to Midas as my 2010 Honda Civic sounded like it lost its muffler. They fit me in the next morning. Within an hour, they inspected my car, and the technician showed me video and photos of the problem. They also noted some other areas of concern to be aware of but not urgent. Their prices were very fair. I had them do my front brakes and oil change since I was there. Staff was professional and personable. HIGHLY recommend Midas in Southington, CT!

So many problems dishonest and horrible
Take you money and repair even tho know my cars engine is on the way out most dishonest worst place padding there reviews and not one persons happy that gets car worked on here!!! They make there own reviews I saw with my own eyes horrible need a serious retail in this store all new management and employees this place is so bad!!!

Two and a half hour oil change!
Dropped my car off for an oil change. Told the guy at the counter to call when done. Showed up two hours later and my car was in the bay but they hadn’t started yet. Guy at the counter said it’ll be couple more minutes. Half an hour later my car was done. Don’t think they have a concept of time!

Not trustworthy. Dishonest
Brought my truck in for a complete new exhaust (Ford F-150). They said none of the parts were available to be ordered (on an F-150?!?!), but if I could find them, they would install them. They gave me a printout of exactly what I needed. I found the parts and brought them to Midas. They gave me an estimate of 3 hours (approx $450 to install). I questioned how it could take 3 hours to install when all of the parts and hardware were brand new. I was told they add an hour to the estimate, in case they run into problems. He said it would be done the next day. 3 days later my truck was ready. He said the bill was WELL OVER $800!!!!! As you can imagine, I hit the ceiling. He stated that it had needed more parts and labor than he had originally said. They completed the job, without speaking to me for an authorization, and wanted to double the price. I flat out refused and said I still had the original estimate. He then stated, he could see I was upset and would discount the work to bring it closer to the original estimate. One of the parts they installed, was an oxygen sensor that I DID NOT AUTHORIZE and wanted to charge me $126.99, plus labor. After we came to an agreement, I went straight to a parts store on the same street, and the oxygen sensor was $40 retail. Totally dishonest and disreputable. STAY AWAY!!!!!
