My Datsun 280Z

The Datsun 280Z quit running perfect for the second time in the 35 years that I have owned this 47 year old car. I normally reach in and hit the key and the car is running. All of sudden it decides to run terrible and stink up my garage. I looked for a company that could handle computer controlled individual port electronic fuel injection that was 47 years old. Mo sad no problem I will come and get the car and Dorothy said your car will remain inside the shop as long as we have it. A couple of days later she called and said the car was ready. The mass air flow meter was lying to the engine control computer. Who would have known that. Not me. These people are fantastic and evidently very smart. I was impressed that the bill was only $350

These guys get it done.

Mo and his staff did a timing chain in my Mini Cooper, brakes and service on my Range Rover. Fast and fair priced, thank you. Now I can enjoy driving again.

What do I know?

I'm a little new to the European tuning scene so I don't want to say what I think, but I will say that my X5 X35d is a in much better shape after leaving it here. I will probably come back for maintenance if I'm ever this far north again. I'd say that these guys are good mechanics and can be trusted to do work on high end vehicles.

Need better communication

I had brought in my car for a check engine light and to look over the car then give me an estimate. After they had done so I told them to go ahead and fix the stuff they listed to me. But once it was done he gave me the total and it was almost $600 more than the original price. Yes they did a great job but I would’ve liked to been notified about other parts before just adding them and charging me.

Friendly, But Won’t Go Here Again

My service light came on and so I took my car here to get a service because the closest BMW dealer is in Minnesota. Turns out it didn’t really need one. But they said I had a rat’s nest in there somewhere. Odd because I bought my car in December in California and drove up to North Dakota in January on a 7-day road trip in snow and ice. My car is stored in a garage which is rodent free and anything in the garage is generally frozen overnight or during the day. This also lead to my concerns regarding a cracked washer reservoir, which can crack in freezing temperatures. They told me there was nothing wrong with it and they would top off my fluids. The receptionist, who was very friendly and nice told me there was nothing wrong with the reservoir. She also stated that there was a language barrier with their tech. Although I wasn’t charged much, when I drove off, my reservoir service light came back on. I went to Walmart and bought a gallon of washer fluid and poured it in. It took the whole gallon and still did not top off. I called back and she had left for the day and the person who answered the phone couldn’t give me any info and to call back Monday. Pretty sure nothing was done on my car and the rat’s nest diagnosis was for another car. I was going to tell my coworker who has an M4 about their services. But now I will tell him to tow it to the dealer in Minnesota.
