Terrible work and won't return money
Gave my truck to Luke in Feb 2021 I had a temp light coming on on my trans. My trans and sensors had already been replaced, and the same issue was still there, brought it in to diagnose the problem and rectify it as o was too busy at the time, multiple months go by and the truck was pit off, when it was finally looked at it was deemed the transmission was bad, it had less than 10 miles on the transmission put in at the time, they changed it again, guess what same issue trans temp light comes on in a few miles, he proceeds to put it off again, now telling me at least the trans is shifting, mind you I drove it the five miles down the road with the other trans it never had a shift problem, then he tells me well you had a bad battery bad distributor cap bad breaks bad vacuum line for 4wd, I told him yeah I know I didn't bring the truck there for that I can do all that myself, he said we'll it's all done already but we need to look further into the issue. Fast forward to 1 year later, he's put the wrong pcm in the truck the truck still has the same exact issue and he has had my truck for a year .... A WHOLE YEAR, dumb on me I know for trying to be patient!he then says he has looked at it repeatedly and can't figure it out , in the meantime I had things stolen from the inside of my truck that I know were there suck as a pancake compressor , the hose was left the compressor is gone and an old scanner, so I drive it home mind you he had replaced ed this trans, I'm looking at it myself at this point running some tests and diagnosing it, I decide to drive it and scan at the same time, I drive it around the block park it in my road to Check my scanner, go to put the truck back in drive and have no gears, the trans linkage fell off under the vehicle, so I had to go find it in the road and install it to get it to go again rubber grommets missing that hold the bar in place, I found the issue was the pcm was the wrong year he installed a 98 pcm In my dodge ram 1500 the engine and motor are 2001 the difference is they changed the trans fluid temp sensor in 2000 the new sensor reads at higher ohms about 240 degrees off from the 98 so the computer thinks the trans is 240 degrees hotter than it actually is. I give him this information at 7am today ask him to buy the new pcm he gives me the website of where he buys them, I told him I already paid for a pcm through you on this truck and it's the wrong one ask if I'm going to get 275 bucks back for the refurbished one I paid for. No response ... even tho luke had been replying immediately back until that question was asked. Took him a year and I walked out with the same problem took me 2 days and I figured it out by looking at a book and forums for 2 hours and looking at my parts installed in the system. If your going to go here don't make it for anything past an oil change or a quick part change that's not extensive obviously the workmanship is just not there
