Hi Deshon, thank you for the review. Every warranty/insurance company operates differently. Every one requires something different. We communicated every update as it came. We were working as diligently as we could and were able to minimize the communication to the extended warranty company into 2 emails. Yes, you were ahead of us and were contacting them directly. This helped speed the process up. Had you not been in contact with them, we would have still handled it within 2 emails. We apologized for not being equipped to provide detailed specs like the dealer. However, we did communicate our tech findings and provided that to you in the invoice. We let you know what compenents on your vehicle that were in good condition and what repairs your car needed and still needs.
However, their documentation and communication need improvement. I came in for a comprehensive check-up and, while they found the issues, they couldn’t provide an itemized list of what was inspected. This makes it hard to track the condition of my car over time.
I also had repeated issues getting documents sent to my warranty provider. Prices and inspection details changed once I mentioned my extended warranty, and I only found out from the provider—not them—that my signature was required to process payment.
Good mechanics, but the lack of transparency and follow-through was frustrating.
