scammer auto shop
I don't know who they are paying to leave positive reviews but please I repeat please don’t make the same mistake I did think this shop is a reputable automotive shop even though they are on the AAA Recommend list I brought my car here for repair the guy original charge me $500 Diagnostic fee
that would go towards my repair cost
The original cost was supposed to be $1500 Two days later, he called me back stating that there was more work needed to be done and that the issue with my car not holding power was an Engine control module. The original cost to fix my vehicle would be 2500 not including the five hundred I have already paid for I know it’s fishy, but I just wanted my car to be fixed so I said OK and was willing to pay the cost of repairs. A day after the vehicle came from the shop the car started to die but when I jumped it came back on I was a little skeptical cause before bringing the car to the shop my car keys would not work for me to lock or unlock my car that red flag. The same day I noticed the key issue I took the car on a little test drive and the car died on me while driving. Luckily for me, I was in an apartment complex near my home so we were able to park the car in the parking space I called the shop the shop provided him with the address where the car was and his exact words were he would have towed. If the issue were on his end I wouldn't be responsible and if it was on their behalf I would have no worries this was on ending February. Two weeks later I noticed I hadn't received any calls or texts from Lancaster Auto I was a bit anxious but due to me traveling for work, I said to myself ill give them some time cause they did accommodate me sometimes. That same week received a certified letter from the towing junkyard that day was going to auction. I called the shop the same guy I gave the address to was completely clueless and admitted he forgot to send a tow and switch up said the tow truck went there but did not see my car not once did he or the tow company call i would have someone meet with them knowing I'm out town. I still was willing to give the shop a chance to fix the matter his tow guy met with me at the junkyard to tow the car he even tried to jump the car and it wouldn't start but still managed to tow it back to the shop. A week went by with not a word or any update from the shop I took the initiative to call them and try to get an update. The shop then proceeded to tell me that there was nothing wrong with the car and that it does run and the issue wasn't with the engine control module but I would have to still keep jumping it to get power and if I wanted to know why it doing I would have to pay an additional diagnostic fee
which was the original issue that it came in for so why am I having to pay for another diagnostic fee I got frustrated and told him that he just refund me my money and ill went elsewhere to get the car repaired because this didn't make sense three days later I go pick up my vehicle and was willing to pay the towing fee cause I knew i were going to take them to court and even mention it to him the guy then proceeded to tell me I owe an extra 600 dollar in a storage fee lol on top of the towing fee so I said you can keep car three months after filling a claim with the courts and is willing to pay their storage fee so I could take the car to get a second diagnosis they rather me dropped my claim again please don't be a fool like I was don't take your car here they are paying for that review the attachment below show all the proof
