This is a significant and costly repair, with estimates ranging from $3500 - $4500. I immediately contacted Joe Myers Ford to address the issue. I was met with a complete lack of accountability. The Sales Manager Tod Chapman stated it was not his problem and sent me to the Service Manager. The Service department also dismissed my concerns and attempted to pass me off to another employee Aubrey Cook apparently the Service manager , who was not available. 5 hours later when he finally contacted me he spent most of his time lecturing me as to how things just happen. Offering me a cut rate on the repair but as soon as the legality of the situation came up he suddenly rescinded his offer and hung up on me.
The dealership has refused to stand by the product they sold me. A major component of a vehicle failing just 300 miles after purchase is unacceptable and the dealership’s refusal to assist is a serious issue. Also I just discovered that they sold me a truck that has a recall on it that was not addressed before they sold it to me. Just showing their lack of concern for the quality of the vehicle they are just shuttling off the their lot. I urge anyone considering doing business with Joe Myers Ford to be aware of their poor customer service and lack of integrity. This has been a terrible experience, and I would not recommend Joe Myers Ford to anyone.
