The Best Auto Service in Hilliard
Background:
I took my 2015 VW to Take 5 for a routine oil change. The next day I noticed oil leaking from the underside of the car and a burning smell. I took the car back to Take 5 and they informed me it wasn’t their issue it was most likely a faulty oil pump. The review for Take 5 will be done on a separate platform but the headline will be use their services at your own risk.

Hilliard Auto Repair:
I then took the car to Hilliard Auto Repair, previously having a good experience with them. The Manager Kim told me she suspected the oil change company had done something incorrectly. She said they would put a UV dye in the oil and under a black light, determine where the oil leak was originating from. There was NOT an oil pump issue but Take 5 had improperly installed the filter, crimping a seal ring. Kim provided a written explanation and pictures for me to file a claim with Take 5.

Through the service experience it is evident they care about their customers and arent just interested in slamming parts in people’s cars for the sake of profitability. I’ve found all of the employees to be engaging and work honestly to gain your business and loyalty. I highly recommend Kim and Hilliard Auto Repair. My cars won’t be serviced by anyone else.

Stranded no more!
Car wouldn’t start after sitting.
Kim took me in despite being uber busy, so I wouldn’t be stranded. Feeling confident about my car with a new alternator and battery. Ladies… you can trust Kim and the guys to do you right! I recommend them to my friends and family…especially my girls!!!!

Great Service and Peace of Mind
Our car had a rear suspension issue and was not safe to drive. We had it towed into Hilliard Auto Repair and dropped the keys as it was late. I called their number and left a message describing our dilemma. The next morning I connected with Jim and her service tech who had already taken the car into the shop and done a complete analysis of the issue. They explained their findings completely and provided next steps and approximately how long it would take to repair as well as a detailed estimate. They also took the liberty of inspecting several other areas of the car and made some recommendations. The car was fixed 100% and the final price was lower than the estimate (where have you seen that lately?) Bottom line is that the repairs were made as described with much attention to the details large and small and they provided a great service on time and under the estimate. We are very pleased with their service and professionalism and we will be back as necessary. If you want a trust worthy auto repair shop we recommend them highly!

Great experience.
